Anyone else watching the Twitch cosplay contest?

Mercy's wings fell apart on stage. Alpaca fell. Waffle is a judge even though today is his first day cosplaying.

Well that's pretty cool. The top three are all very good.

I didn't bother to watch. Once I saw what twitch chose for each category I was disappointed.

It was clear that the people who chose the Finalists were just random twitch staff and not legitimate cosplay judges. They chose things that they recognized or thought looked cool instead of things with quality construction and craftsmanship.

I'm glad to hear that the bleach/dye girl didn't win 1st though.

It was pre-judged so the winners where set long before the stage portion.

I was laughing at best in show's armor falling off when he accepted his prize though.

85% of the contestants would be able to walk home from nearly any show with an award.
Sure there were 4 or 5 kind of questionable, but the popular vote portion could easily account for those.

Were you not here in previous thread when we posted the contestants and discussed the lackluster choices by the judges?

This contest was a mess.
