I've only seen one Chisa, but she wasn't that good. I'd love to see more DR3 cosplays of the new characters. I might cosplay Maiya Gekkougahara sometime soon.

I'm gonna be styling a Toko wig for a friend for a con this winter; what do you guys like seeing in a good Toko wig?

Currently working on Ryota Mitarai(Zetsubou-hen) for a con in the next few weeks. SUPER disappointed with the ending but I still adore him.

Hoping to also do younger Juzo for that con with friends doing Chisa and Munakata. Let's see if we can get our wigs in time though!

i like it when people put effort into styling her flicks; for some reason a lot of people will leave it as a basic side fringe, or cut them into straight bangs (which look cute, but aren't anywhere close to her design).

it's also nice when they get her braids as thick as they look in-game, or use wire inside said braids to pose 'em.

i don't think i've ever seen someone get a perfect-looking colour for her wig, either... they're normally too rich a brown or veer too close to red,but i guess it is an awkward colour to nail down.

I agree with this! It always looks better when people go into the effort of styling the flicks into the fringe.
This wig is really nicely done, but again the colour is so awkward to get right. imo something slightly darker than this would be right.

In my opinion, its more important to focus on her hair style as opposed to colour, seeing as its a fairly awkward colour to nail down. Her hair is HUGE and wild and full of volume. This cosplayers wig is straight and flat.

Thats nice and you already said that but the other anon is right. It looks better when its not blonde. If you did blonde with pink highlights all you would have is blonde with pink streaks. Thats ugly.

Cosplayers should go for the pink that regular gyarus use since thats what it looks like she's wearing.

I recently ordered a wig for my Chiaki cosplay and I went for a colour close to this image.
I found it very hard because in some images it is grey while others it is more pink. But in the end I found the slightly pink onces to look better.

Currently in the process of making Komaeda with things I have at home, just need to find a good brand of paint that will work on the jacket/coat without the green shining through too much. (And I'm scared of using the acrylic paint + wood glue + water mix I used for the t-shirt, since it's hell to get right)

Anyways, I was wondering about Kazuichis' hair, since he's another one I wish to cosplay someday.
With that intense hairline, would it be good to get a lace front wig with a window's peak, or should I try to use the felt + loose hair method?
(Or am I too retarded to confuse a fringe with a hairline?)

I've seen cosplayers do both the fringe and the widows peak, and I personally think widows peaks look a lot better. However if you don't want to fork out heaps of money for a lace front wig, I'm sure you could make do with making the widows peak yourself or just styling the front part into the fringe.

I know what his hair looks like in DR3. This guy's hair is too caked down and flat. Gundam's hair should be flowing and flipped up.

I think whatever looks good with your skin tone, I have one in a sort of mix fiber grey/dark powder pink that looks good with my skin even though its not super accurate it looks tonnes better in photos than looking like a burnt crisp

Arda's lightning pink was my favorite color for it, IIRC its been discontinued. I've seen a couple Junkos who used it but Yaya Han's is the most notable. Shame she was lazy with the styling

Best girl for sure. She definitely has good character development as you go through her free time events.

I actually prefer the 3rd pic because of the attention to detail to the scars and muscular arms. The first one looks too manly and the second one too soft. Still exciting to see though!

I'm still confused as to what Hina's hair is supposed to look like. It's almost like a bun with the hair at the top pulled up and styled with gel. It can't be a ponytail because that's just not how ponytails work. At least in DR3 they gave her a regular ponytail.
