I've been interested in J-Fashion for awhile now but over the years I haven't actually found a style that I'd like to wear, mainly due to the fact that a lot of the styles guys are stuck with tend to be samey and boring compared to the huge variety girls get.
So I was wondering if any of you guys have spotted some styles that aren't overdone or conventional (kawaii, visual kei, etc.)

heres a happy pupo to cheer you upo
Check out neo street fashion, ouji, visual kei, gyaruo, senta guy, fairykei pasteltrash, mori and don't be afraid to add female parts to your wardrobe, because that's very common among Japanese guys who are into street fashion. Maybe you should check out tokyo fashion streetsnaps

You can literally do any J-Fash style girls do... Or most of them at least.

>Elegant Gothic Aristocrat
EGA?
Visual kei isn't overdone, it's not popular at all
>>9186433
>Mori
Just some examples. Basically, what >>9186428 said. You'll probably attract more attention than a female wearing J-Fashion, or more rude comments, especially if it's something more feminine...

From what I've seen Visual Kei is pretty common if you're looking for a more punky look, but besides that it's not popular now because I think it might just be outdated or has updated its common image immensely from what it used to be like gyaru has.

I don't really mind the stigma behind wearing J-Fashion, I would just prefer not to incorporate feminine pieces into my wardrobe. I'm looking for more unique masculine styles.
I've looked into Mori for awhile, seems like finding pieces for guys is a challenge for that style.

Fairy Kei is a bit much I think. A bit too androgynous for my taste and seems like more feminine pieces than masculine for the most part.

literally nothing is stopping you from being GNC and wearing whatever you want
people may read you as a gay man though

You can reply to more than one person in a post
And you have an excuse for every style
If you don't like feminity then you won't like jfashion
Also you're clearly not looking very hard, galaxy and 6% both use large amounts of pants

OP's probably too insecure in his masculinity to even wear pastels, wearing a skirt would probably cause him to implode. This entire thread is just going to be us trying to spoonfeed a mentally retarded baby.
Fuck off, we're not here to pick a style for you.

Then, go for host style or gyaruo or senta guy, or elegant gothic aristocrat. Inb4 muuuhhhh but those are boring, you literally said that you ARE searching for sth more common and more male and eg host is pretty much a definition for male af
1 Look at Japanese fashion magazines
2 Pick something you like
ryutaro was my first visual kei crush

Let's just use this thread to all post our favourite pictures of guys in jfashion
