Usually Crcked does it right, but something about this article make me think they got their sources wrong. It seems like they literally have no clue.
Does anybody know what site they were referring to when they wrote this piece of garbage?

Cracked haven't been doing it right for a very long time

>Does anybody know what site they were referring to
Cosplay deviants is referenced several times throughout the article.

Cosplay Deviants, and a lot of it does sound right, like the copyrights and legal definition of pornography. Cracked didn't research anything, that's all info from Shodan the person being interviewed/writing the article.
They get paid shit. No wonder deviants like this one do sets on the side, but they don't change the name of the character even though copywrite laws are pretty self explanatory.
Same thing goes for princess party people. They can't name who the princess is even though the design is obvious. Its like Ice Witch Princess, Mermaid Princess, Beautiful Princess.. Etc.
I'm confused about the fact that they have these rules for sets and outfits, but its okay if the girl is butt ugly as hell. You would think they would have some sort of standard for characterization. A broken face doesn't a Harley Quinn make.

this, Cracked has been awful for years. It's buzzfeed-tier at this point, and a good article is an exception and not the rule at this point
is Geek Goddess any good?

As far as the porn or the pay?
They are bit more strict about makeup, hair, and photo quality then Cosplaydeviants. Look at the models and decide for yourself.
As far as pay, CosplayDeviants pays models 400$ a year. GeekGoddess doesn't actually say what they pay. Geekgoddess only states they pay per set and generally seek to provide a photographer. It seems one has the possibility of making 600+ per year according to the FAQ.

I know of cosplay erotica as well, but I wasn't sure which one they were referencing...

>Pigtails look uneven
>Can't be assed to get floppy socks
>Blazer way too short
>Skirt way too long
>That fucking scooter

Thats chump change compared to patreon and patreon girls dont even have to go nude
>>9184485
Do you think the customers care about costume quality
>>9184458
Its not $400 a year. Its $400 per set, but you can submit a set tomorrow and it won't be up months later, so its best to take a whole bunch at once, edit them, and submit. Then the company spaces them out accordingly so its not the same model 3 times in one month and then you get paid when your set is shown on the site.

400 a set actually isn't bad at all if a person makes costumes anyways as a hobby.

Yep. There is one girl who actually teachers people how to sew as a job and her outfits always look amazing and she is very cute too. I like her stuff a lot. She goes by Risu. Her wig styling is okay enough, but her costumes make me really happy at least someone in cosplaydeivants knows how to make things look nice. She also has a really cute body too, so its a good break from all the fat lards they have been hiring or have hired in the past.
