Probably a silly question but does anyone find certain nail shapes are stronger/less prone to breaking? I prefer almond shaped nails but are the other shapes more 'durable' ?

I'd assume that the longer they are, the more prone to breaking they'll be. Dont know if this is true though

I like mine almond shaped too and find them more durable than a square shape. I'm just more prone to catching them on things with squared corners though so they might necessarily be any stronger if that makes sense?

Nail tech training says "squoval" is strongest. Thats the rounded off square, like a longer version of >>9178655 sort of. Gently curved front edge, round corners, straight sides. No sharp or flat edges to catch, but no central stress point like a true oval or almond. I work at a place thats mostly working women as clients that want strong lasting manicures, and it works out to like 55% squoval, 40% oval and 5% almond.
