Depends on what you want. A number of taobao shops have made them (cutiecreator is one I think) and SakuraFairy on etsy has custom felt ones. I knew exactly what I wanted so I just straight up made my own but it wasn't very easy.

I bought >>9170170 and it was massive (they come in a smaller size) but definitely made for smaller heads. Mine wouldn't stay on so I had to hold it in place for photos but I got a lot of compliments on it! Shitty selfpost from when I first got everything, sorry!

Use a cheap one as a base for the shape and cover it with nicer fabric and trim. That's what I did for mine last year and I think it turned out nicely. I didn't find it difficult but maybe not a project for a complete beginner, because of hand stitching awkward shapes.

I bought this dress since I've been wanting to do a renaissance type costume for Halloween for a few years now. Planning on adding darker gold trim around the neckline and where the skirt and bodice meet, and attempt to raise the skirt a bit to make the dress more empire waist looking.

The necklace will be a clear gem though instead of a green one, and planning on adding a long pearl chain necklace, and a long rosary necklace as well.

Working on a coord for Not So Scary and I'm trying to decide between the hairbow that matches the dress (pictured) or a handmade witch's hat with a pumpkin accessory attached (still in progress). I feel like the hat is too big and heavy looking, but the headbow looks so small and boring. Also might ditch the bat bag and just carry a pumpkin shaped trick-or-treat bucket.
I'm still very new to lolita, so feel free to concrit; I don't want to go out looking like an embarassment if it can be avoided.

The red is throwing me off even though it's techincally balanced through the coord well. I think it's because it's such a minor color in the jsk being represented so majorly. In any case, if you do continue on with the red I recommend the bat bag but a red hair accessory or at least some red in your hair accessory. The color is represented in your lower section and mid section but absent in your top section.

So I got Rosy Night Masquerade. I'm usually 100% into sweet, but I really fell in love with this dress so when it was first previewed I put in a request with my SS.
For some reason I really want to pair this dress with large chunky blood red stones. I do resin and have already experimented making resin gems so my options there are limitless there for accessories.

This is a super rough idea of the outfit. I'm preordering the new dear celine blouse in black for the outfit, I'll grab a pair of dark red heels off antaina or something (too big feet for burando shoes), and I'm planning on grabbing the Antique Beast hat when they open this month. Leg wear is a random placeholder as I'll probably will get whatever is actually available to buy

Any suggestions gulls? Anything else off antique beast thatd be suitable? I have no idea what I should get for a bag. I love the small horror bat bag that came out last year but I think thats a bit too... sweet/cartoony for this outfit? I want something a bit more elegant

I havent decided on shoes but I would have probably gotten something similar since its what Im used to. What would you recommend? I do like the color but black could be fine as well. I really dont know styles of shoes outside of sweet ones haha

Antaina has a lot of shoes that would work. I would stay away from low chunky heels and multiple bows and try to find something with a more elegant heel. For the bag you could do a simple satchel, maybe, like the ones Mu Fish have. (hopefully they still have some stock left)

I'm going to try to balance the red a little better and I'll definitely add some into the head area. I would use the dress's original bow, but I bought it second hand and it didn't come with it. Thank you for the feedback... I'll see if I can figure something out.
