any stormtroopers? or general star wars cosplay?
Scout trooper myself. Less armor so it was a little more comfortable
easily the shortest trooper in my garrison, working on a Scout now just so i can correct niggas on the short trooper joke

You are so tiny and cute

That one looks film-esque. Did you buy it or did you actually make it from scratch?
Dream costume since I was twelve years old, but goddamn does that thing seem to defy the laws of physics.
Still too scared to try that gorgeous ombre dye too.
Instead, finally going to start on the Aqua Georgette gown from E3. Also hopefully going to start on Rey's outfit, but I'm doing a couple of mockups to figure out how that gorgeous pleating worked. Most Rey cosplayers I've seen just let that front part of the bodice hang and wander around and it looks so half assed.
I've already told my boyfriend, if there isn't one awesome flowy dress in E8, I'mma cut a bitch (I know the odds are against me, but let me dream.) The team up of Ian McCaig's gorgeous designs and Trisha Briggar's craftsmaship is unparalleled. When Briggar worked on Da Vinci's Demons without McCaig's designs the results were absolutely tragic.
Anyone got tips on making head pieces. I want to cosplay Hera and Ahsoka from Rebels but I've no space for casting. Can latex be applied to foam or fabric?

The movies were so shit but goddamn the costumes were so beautiful. Look at this real life mucha.

Im cutting the sleeve of the tunic shorter and replacing the sleeves with black fabric, adding a jedi order patch to one sleeve, got new smaller lower leg armor i need to plastidip, primer, and paint, new forearm armor being made, and got a new lightsaber
I have an ANOVOS ANH kit that I'm going to start on soon.
Mark Hamill is 5'9" (I'm 5'6"), so how short is too short to be a stormtrooper?
I am Revan!
Recently got my voice amplifier and it's a huge boon to this cosplay. The voice pack fits right under one of my robe flaps, so the voice comes out around belt level, but other than that, this is probably my favorite cosplay to do.

Right? I mean, episode II is genuinely so bad as to be painful. The dialogue, acting, and pacing is just atrocious.
But goddamn the concept art, matte paintings, soundtrack and costumes do some heavy lifting. John Williams' 'Across the Stars' is like something out of Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake.
I'm working on a tusken costume. It's my first real cosplay costume I've made.
I still need to do some minor detail stuff on the head, but I have it and the robes mostly done. Almost done making boots and tomorrow I'm doing the cycler and respirator.
Any troopers have advice on how to cool off the interior of your helmet? I'm the scout trooper from earlier and it wasn't sweat but condensation on the top of the helmet that became a problem. Any ways to keep that from happening?

I have the same kit, but I'm 5'10. You're probably going to have to do some adjusting to the top of the thighs to be able to walk comfortably

I use a squirrel fan kit I got from Ebay that uses USB battery banks to power it. The airflow prevents fogging even on the hottest days.

By no means am I aiming for 501st approval, just for fun. Though, I am taking liberties to improving my Kylo Ren.
Here's a potato-quality image with a qt Phasma, under the helmet, and I.

I want to ride you like I'm a sand person and you're my bantha
>>9168656
come to daddy
>>9168653
A little Force choke foreplay, first.
>>9168643
ey, thats not bad for kylo, props mate
Just finished my first cosplay!

Very cool. I would have gone with the gaffi stick for maximum URGUGUGURRRRH, but still great.
>>9171692
Dirty that shit up!
>>9171859
Yeah, I dyed it in tea but it doesn't show up as well on camera. So I gotta figure something else out to make it dirty. Especially the head.
>>9171864
A butt load of coffee. Here's a linen I dyed with coffee for Warhammer purity seals. Just put a load of spoonfuls in boiling water then threw in the fabric.
>>9171692
Rub ash or dirt on it

Been working on dirtying the mask
>>9173524
been interested how do you breath in that mask? i had to install fans to breath in my stormtrooper helmet for longer then 10min
>>9173857
It's not too hot. The mouth part is open, just covered with a thin piece of fabric so you don't see my mouth.
