First time using a sewing machine and first cosplay. Of course I choose to do hakama.

Lol thank you. I actually wound up tossing this a few months ago since 2010. It killed me, but I didn't plan to wear Himeko ever again and even if I did , I'd want to redo the whole outfit. Honestly finished it in 2 days and made the pants out of wrapping paper, but the top I had to follow a kimono pattern from the store.

Thinking back I actually have no clue how the fuck I finished this without help because looking at it now and understanding how to sew, its complicated! Sewing machines STILL kill me, but I know how to use them better?

Well it's good for two days. Mind took a week but it was because I thought using bondo was a great idea.

I also since there are no AC patterns had to make my own. I used tracing paper and had my sister place it on her sketch it out and just went from there. The coat and hood was hard. I would defiantly do things differently now.

I tried making a coat and hood before. I didn't realize something so simple had so many different cuts in order to make it look good! Hoods are like 4 pieces together!

The tracing paper thing is basically how I had to do my pants. I had to have my mom hold the paper up to my legs and draw lines where things would be stitched.

Haha yeh my sister is my model for anything sewing or wigs. I'm like put this on so I can cut it.
