Self-Posting so I can get some critique.

I put this outfit together for AUSA last year and I did it in about two days. I want to make it better now that I actually have some time for it...any suggestions?

Pic on the right is the detail of the hat; I added one of the orange flowers to the centre of the bow after this pic was taken.

I know off-hand I'd like to get bows that actually have matching oranges in them. I'm just thinking it looks a bit plain or strange.

Any suggestions? I'm so sorry for the horrid quality.

The clothes look like they don't quite fit you. Might just be the pose. The ribbons and hat cheapen your outfit, I'd try to find more lolita friendly accessories and look for something to break up the flat black of the blouse/skirt and add some different texture.

Like other anons, I would suggest a cuter more lolita hair accessory or even a longer wig (in black or a color that matches your necklace). The outfit itself looks flat because there are no other textures. I would take out the bows and replace them with black satin ones if you want to keep bows. Add more black but in different textures might be the way to go.

Halloween is not what used to be anon-- I'm pretty bummed about how things are growing up too. Halloween used to be a very different thing when I was like 8, and then my mom became a jw,so no more halloween for awhile and not it's like this totally different holiday and its like a day for normies to cosplay.
