I would've loved to get married in lolita, but the dresses are in high demand and really rare where I am. Wouldn't want to buy one and no one would rent one halfway across the world.

I wore a classical looking long dress with some lace around the shoulder/neck area. It wasn't AS pretty, but I'm happy with it.

I may wear lolita for my wedding since lolita dresses are more affordable than traditional wedding dresses. I have enough lolita friends to where I can have them be my bridesmaids. I'd love them to wear lolita to the wedding as well, and it'd be even better if they all wore matching coordinates. I don't have a specific dream dress, but I'd love to get one from BTSSB.

Personally, I wouldn't wanna wear lolita to someone else's wedding unless if they specifically requested it. I feel like I'd take too much attention away from the bride and groom.

I don't have one because when I get married I want to look for a dress with an open mind and not be bothered that my 'dream dress' is impossible to find because it came out years ago. But here are some coords I would use as inspiration.

How would you feel if someone wore lolita to your wedding as a guest?
I would be happy, I don't think it takes away attention fromt he bride unless they wear OTT. I think if you'd wear a nice OP in the most basic way, you would completely blend in with other guests.

I dont like the idea of a ceremony/party because the idea of public speaking terrifies me but because i know my partner wants a party i would prefer to wear lolita.

Theres a few Atelier P black chiffon dresses i like but i would obviously prefer it in white. If i had to choose one that currently existed i guess i would go with Berceuse OP. I liked babys but i doubt i could pull it off

This is what I'm doing! Or pretty close anyway. I'm planning on slipping a cute dress code card into the invitations for my lolita friends pretty much specifying that lolita is acceptable except for sweet. I think sweet is a little too crazy, but gothic, classic, otome, etc. would all be fun to have at my wedding

No. It's a tradition in my family to keep the wedding dress a secret from the partner, so it's not being discussed. But I know what his tastes are like and that he would support my choice.

Idk, maybe, if they wear something like a toned down JetJ or Victorian Maiden dress that could also pass as non-lolita formal wear. But l'd prefer if no one sticks out too much, so I'd prefer the traditional formal wear overall.

Honestly, lolita is just like normal clothes to me so wearing it to my wedding seems really underwhelming. Then again, I think paying amounts you wouldn't pay for regular clothing for a garment you only wear once is a huge waste, I don't know.

My plan: rent a traditional dress for the ceremony and some photos. Then change into some nice lolita dress like >>9139178 for the party. Ideally I'd try to get a dress I need to dress up for the wedding and dress down for normal wear.

I'd love to get married in lolita, but my boyfriend has wedding dress fetish so I'll probably get a more traditional one. There are plenty more times to wear lolita, but a wedding dress is a (hopefully) once in a lifetime thing.
