Could someone please tell me where I can find a list of all the anime conventions in California? It's for my girlfriend, she's really into anime. So far I only know AX.

(I'm from SoCal, so I don't really know that many cons up north)

I've gone since it began three years ago. I've always liked this con. It's very homely and fun.

Anything about the alleged AM2 connection? I tried looking it up and nothing.

Also how is pmx if anyone happens to know? I'm choosing between pmx and anime california as my inbetween con for ala and ax.

The only thing sketchy about Anime Caljfornia is that it is owned by Ryan Kopf. If you don't care about that Anime California is good.

PMX was the week after AC last year, so most of the cosplayers just skipped PMX.

Lolita aside, if you prefer socializing and partying, PMX isn't good.
