I've seen a lot of people making whip chokers and I was wondering the best way to do this? Do they pipe directly onto the choker or pipe onto something else, peel it off when dry and then glue it onto the choker? And I'm guessing they use a fabric type choker and the silicone stays well?

I have a ton of cute Animal Crossing amiibos that I really don't need. I kind of want to pry off their little stand and make some cute phone and 3DS cases with them. Thoughts and inspo?
>>
>>9092348
Amiibos seem like they'd be way too bulky, but maybe that's just me. I'm not a fan of deco that's thrice the thickness of the object being deco'd. Amiibos can get kinda heavy too, the AC ones are pretty thick.
>>
>>9091737
This is surprisingly cute. I imagine they use a flexible plastic base or something, I don't know if silicone would stick well enough to fabric to not come off when it's worn a few times.
>>
>>9091737

Holy shit I just had the best idea for a coord and this style of necklace.

Mein gott, I need to either find someone I can commission or start learning how to pipe shit. Any gulls want to make some cash off my talentless ass?

>best idea for a coord and this style of necklace
Please tell me I'm not the only one who immediately thought of that radioactive AP monstrosity when they saw this.
>>
Good Taobao shops for deco? Especially really small rhinestones/pearls/tiny embellishments and figures since I'm making my own cabochons now
>>
>>9096512
Go eBay for rhinestones and pearls. I get my 2mm ones for $0.75-0.99 per 2000 and free shipping. Most of the shops will have deals for multi-buys as well.

Also posting some OC to add content. Finished this back in May for a friend's birthday and been sitting on my ass ever since but with Pokemon Go having come out I really want to make myself a team design case.

Thanks! It was the first one I'd done since finding an online program for cross stitching that I could make patterns for. My past ones were a hot mess because I was just going off pictures.

what did you used to glue them together?
>>
>>9097080
E6000 glue in clear. It being clear means you don't see the mess on the edges until you're right up at it.

Thanks! It's loads better than how I first started with just overlaying a picture on a clear case then just applying beads. I ended up ruining two cases for anons here and getting depressed and quitting for a few months until I found this program and tried again.

If anyone wants to try it: http://stitchboard.com/pages/pattern/freePatternWizard.php

Dropping some other deco stuff to give some more content since it's kinda sparse right now.

Not sure how I feel about this one but it definitely did its job at being spooky.

Love these ones
Unfortunatly I can only use silicone or rubber cases because I'm clumsy af and drop my phone all the time...
>>
>>9098944
This thing looks like it's going to bite me.
>>
>>9092375
What if you cut them in half?
>>
>>9098939
Only thing I don't like about this case is how it makes Miku look like a hunchback.
>>
>>9100018
Didn't even notice that until you pointed it out. It looks pretty unnatural now...

You could commission the OP of the pic, MidnightSpringsDeco herself. That set is sold already, but her custom orders will open on the 20th. She does have more cute stuff though and specialises on decoden, so you should check out her etsy and ig.

>ruining a perfectly good Miku nendoroid petit
This hurts my heart as a figure collector.
>>
>>9104882
I don't get this mentality. It's not like they're ruining your own personal figures. They can do what they want with what they paid for.
>>
>>9104887
This. I would get it if it was super rare (even if the person who owns it is still allowed to do whatever they want with their belongings), and a lot of people wanted it.
But yeah, I'm assuming these are mass produced, so I don't even see why anyone would care
>>
>>9104882
It was likely a bootleg, anon.
>>
>>9105058
This. Taobao stores that specialize in deco usually care a butt ton of bootleg gacha as well.

Besides the figures just sit on a shelf or desk otherwise. At least they're being used. Not like they're using valuable Figma parts it's just a blind box

>go to work on Pokemon Go phone case
>only have the big E6000 tube
>glue goes everywhere
>dries before I barely get ten beads down
>decide to scrape off extra
>peels off super easy
>takes my beads with it
>back to square one

Looks like I'm going to have to order my bead and jewelry glue and try again.
>>
>>9105131
Well fuck. Hope things go better the next time round, anon.
>>
Does anyone have good Ali stores for figures? A lot of the ones I've seen look derpy as shit.
