Get up and be a dancing weeb, /cgl/! Talk about dance cover threads from soloists and groups in the odottemita world!
>>
>Hoshi starts another campaign
>leaves social media literally less than 24 hours later
>"I want to become a better idol!"

Hoshi step 1 is to stop being a delusional kid and starting these campaigns. I highly doubt her parents know about any of her campaigns to raise money.

What other video sites can you upload to besides NND and Youtube? I really don't want to deal with Youtube and NND is a last resort for me.

I'm so happy right now! My little sister got into LL, and we're learning Start Dash now. It's been super fun, even though we don't have a Kotori yet. Any suggestions for simple two-person dances? We're thinking of doing Happy Train from Aikatsu next.

Not the highest quality covers as I don't have time to go on a proper hunt for you, but it gives you an idea so if you like them then you can look into them further yourself!

No problem! Also, have a playlist of duo dances I have been compiling for my dance group (There's a mix of difficulties in there). Unfortunately there has been a recent sweep and there's now a lot of deleted videos in there. But save the link as I'll be going through and re-adding/adding more videos too it once I have some time to sit down and do it haha!

I absolutely adore the odottemita community!! I follow a lot of people, and look up to many. My favorites by far to watch are the groups like Miume, MARiA, and 217, or Arsmagna.

They all look lost and awkward...
>>
>>9097081

Oh thank god anon. I almost posted this myself. Aren't the girls in purple (the only one who can dance) and green from Flusay Girls?

I swear during the first song they were all doing their own dance. My friend gave her input and felt like the Asian girl was only in there to be the "token Asian", though she couldn't dance to save her life.
>>
>>9097122
It honestly looks like they debuted way to early with little to no practice. The choreography is too simple to mess up and none of them look comfortable. I'm scared to see the rest of the performance.
>>
Who wants to form a odottemita group with me? Must be in California

Wow I was just about to post this. There worse than >>9097081 . Why are UK girls so awkward and lost when they dance? Do they not practice or take lessons? Also I felt like they brought great shame to Noora and nicobot.'s cover at the end.
>>
Whats with these really shitty groups?
Its not that hard to get in sync if people actually give two shits. Like oml
>>
>>9097985
It's the UK what do you expect? Try looking at groups and soloists in other parts of Europe.
>>
>>9097081
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kwsh0OpvX64

they uploaded their practice video. I would be concerned if their practice looks exactly the same as the actual performance. They look just as lost and boring at the practice.
>>
>>9097621
I feel so bad for them, the audience just left one by one... Must've felt awful.
>>
>>9098124
I don't give much sympathy if they allowed the atmosphere of the performance to get that bad. It also didn't help that they barely spoke or interacted with the crowd.
>>
Am I the only one who finds DTP's recent video to be a messy clusterfuck?

https://youtu.be/xfqsHT9goXo
>>
>>9090294
But Hoshi is from the US.
The European, or actually the UK aidoru have been quiet, I haven't seen a single scandal since the beginning or Furi Furi / end of Wish sisters. Also, why no one talks about Hitode army? they are flawless. What about Amaitsukiland? ChottoC? Any other notable european dance groups?
And from the States/Canada? I know FrollicLassie, 4TE (though not an actual odorite group), I can't remember more right now.

I think LL dance covers should get their own thread, there are probably more videos related to Aqours/ยต's than regular jpop/aidoru dance covers.
>>
>>9100176
It looks like they filmed a practice, rather than a polished, finished video. It's not good.
>>
I've always wanted to be in a dance group, but the one I managed to get together a few years ago was really shitty so I never bothered again. Don't want to risk having to deal with idiots who don't understand how dancing works and have to play nice and not be able to ask them to leave. It's so frustrating for people to be so shitty at just dancing some anime dances which aren't intensive or all that difficult to learn.
>>
>>9100176
Prime example of attempting something that just isn't in your skill range. They're all so floppy, often skip moves, and just aren't together in the slightest.

So recently I had a discussion with a friend of mine and we were talking about the Chinese Odottemita groups vs our local talents and how some of the local groups feel the Chinese groups don't capture the spirit of LL!. I know that those cover groups do get more coverage and recognition than the latter but it was the first time I learned about the tension between both sides.

So your thoughts on the Chinese Cover Group scene at oversea cons?

So what your thoughts on

>>9106740
Okay the Monmusu one was pretty bad, but I didn't think the kpop dances themselves were too bad for novices. Shitty lighting and angles are really unflattering.
The dancers themselves though....definitely need to lose weight. A chance of style wouldn't hurt either. It hurts to see them do sexy dances with flab.
>>
>>9106740
I attended one of their previous concert and they were super open with my critiques on their dancing. The group is technically a sub group within a maid cafe. I don't feel as bothered by them because they know they need the improvement plus there not looking to become some big time famous group like some idol groups we have talked about in previous threads. There ok.
>>
>>9106804
I'm usually not one to make this correction but.... It's they're.
>>
What groups are in the area you live in? Have you considered joining them? There's a dance group at my local college but I'm hesitatant about joining them. They don't seem cringe but they do refuse to dance to anything else but kpop. I'm personally not into kpop but I just want to dance with others..

I really don't know what else to say about this but that.. it's cringy and the dancers look so awkward

Plan on doing a cute simple/not too long dance (still searching for a music) with my closest friend just for shit and giggles because we are little weebs despite being adults.
Thing is, i can't dance. Really.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated, she sounded so excited about it and i really want to do it for her and do it well so i'll not become a laughingstock.
>>
>>9110046
Take a look into doing a couple of dance classes, even the free ones done at community centers are ok. If you don't have that type of recourse avaiable, practice the dance in front of the mirror. If it looks off to you, then it's more than likely looks off to everyone else. Practice.
>>
>>9110103
What do you think of semi professional dance groups like

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQDVgXEvVPY this one. I'm still impressed at the fact they were able to do the actual hop (their page has their practices and training, its quite amusing)
>>
>>9110046
Don't try to rush learning the dance. Dance until you have sharp movements and know the dance by heart. Film yourself while practicing and analyze what you could do better and as that other anon said, dance with a mirror. Don't forget that facial expressions make a big part of a dance, if you look lost or like you don't enjoy dancing at all, you'll more likely to be noticed as a bad dancer. Just replace your lack in dance skills with huge amount of energy and good feeling, and a lot will be forgiven. But that's no excuse to slack with trying to master the dance! Remember that you're doing this for fun and if you really want it, you'll practice it and it'll end up looking probably just fine. Confidence, that matters and shows!
>>
>>9110177
They have very good centering abilities, but the dance it's self is quite poor quality. not because of bad dancers; ( though there are a few mistakes, but you can kind of forgive in a live performance.) but because there are a lot of small details completely missed out in their dance which makes it look not very energetic as it should be.

not horrendous but there's a definite lack of energy, maybe because you can't see facial positions and a few of them are off time are not too sharp with moves. but wow, that constant good centering is great. I can only see one part when someone's really off position.
>>
>>9103370
Concrit will be harsh but if you take it well you'll improve a lot. It's difficult to see what you're doing wrong if you don't have much experience, but people here can go too far with criticism and it will be hard to hear how shit you are.
If you can take it, go for it.
>>
very new to odottemita, though I do have some dance expirience. Just wondering about how many of you are solo or in groups. And for those of you in groups, were you just friends with your group members prior are did you meet your group through odottemita?
>>
>>9110177
They look really listless and bland. They dance just fine, but there's something off about it- it's not energetic or cheerful or fun.
>>
>>9109706

>>
>>9111349
Solo here, sadly. There have been attempts to put together groups in my local community but no one wants to meet outside of conventions and even at the cons only one or two other people ever have bothered to learn the dance so we don't record it or anything, just dance for fun.

I just started actually trying to get decent at it though, because I admit I was really genuinely pretty bad myself before. So far I've only actually posted two videos, but the second one was a lot nicer than the first so I'm hoping it's an incremental thing

Next month/early September I'll be doing my first collab which is exciting though! Sorry for this turning into a blog orz I just have no one to talk to about this IRL

tl;dr: live in small city, no one wants to dance with me
>>
>>9086388
this is going to sound strange OP, but I've apparently become the director/producer of a Love Live dance group (they loved my improptu "test my mirrorless film and now want me to film their entire dance set", and I have a question. What do you all want in your directors. I will have a multi cam setup (A cam as the main wide angle entire dance group for the 9 member songs, B and C cameras are for the centers and solo moments), but how should I edit them. I figure you all are the experts in this.
>>
>>9113990
Maybe I'm simply understanding wrong, but when you say centers and solo moments, are you meaning solo shots? If that's so, then you don't need 3 cameras. You'd really only need 2 (or 1 really since you could use the same camera for recording at different times). If you mean solo moments & centers for group shots, then I think there's more involved. For understanding sake, could you explain more? I don't wanna help and then give you wrong information.
>>
>>9114201
https://youtu.be/Jz6OX8cYUFA?list=RDDRHm9bdtC8c&t=63 see in the wonderful rush PV how the "camera" (its animation), goes from the main core shot to tighter 3 member groups? Things like that.

Again, thanks, I want to make all your dance groups look good,!
>>
>>9114570
first of all
>not wonderful rush
second of all
work out what bits you want to film individually and film those separate, that way the dancers are always looking in the right camera. Here is a good example
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2jXIaIfh5g
You could either a) film all together and then each group/person individually the whole piece and cut as you want to in editing. or b) pre-plan exactly what shots you want.
The first one makes it easier if someone makes a mistake somewhere or you want more freedom but will take a lot of time.
>>
>>9114658
Wonderful Rush was in the playlist.

>>9114570
Okay so after watching, I agree with the above person. Film everything separately. It makes it easier if someone makes a mistake. You could still pre-plan your shots, but you should be prepared to have them ruined or changed.

But I still don't think you'd need 3 cameras. At most I'd say 2. A lot of MVs and anime MVs have better "equipment" which allow them to get a bunch of shots. If you've ever watched dance versions, you'll notice some of them change angles, some of which are high, some of which focus on one person as they sing. That's because they have he ability to do that.

My point is, have one camera for full group and one for left or right shots of the dancers. Use one of those two to record individual and group shots. It may be more time consuming but like said before, it's easier if someone makes a mistake that you didn't catch because you could always switch to a different clip.
>>
https://youtu.be/iJNwTiNHn8g

That's probably the saddest thumbnail I've ever seen. Also, no wonder why they suck. They only got together 2 days before the performance. That's super poor planning, they need at at least a week of practice all together to look like effort went in.
>>
Always scared of getting posted here. I just dance fun LL dances with my friends and I love it but I'm clearly worse than them and it hurts. I'm so damn uncoordinated.
>>
>>9117563
Then... practice more? Saying you're uncoordinated just seems like an excuse for not working hard enough.
>>
>>9117548
As much as I would like to say "Hey they did good! Don't trash them!", I can't. Because from that video alone there were songs they could've easily practiced on their own & fixed when together. There's also no way they just learned the original choreo. If so, then damn whoever made it (assuming Holly) needs to be put to blame. Optimism is cool and all, but they did shit to me.
>>
>>9117567
To play devil's advocate, one can try harder than anyone and still suck. But at the same time it does kinda sound like an excuse.
>>
>>9097621
Why did they waste their time having t-shirts made? They're beating a dead horse. They should just disband in my honest opinion.
>>
>>9100378
Maybe their group is finally on the decline. Getting a little tired of them.
>>
>>9118218
It's been on the decline since those two other members announced graduation. There delusional about making a combat of the century to become a big popular group when there on Crystal Rose level performances.
>>
>>9090214
when your idol group fails, you going to force your sister to hate idols, Dia?
>>
>>9117585
I don't even post videos personally because I know I'm not good enough. But I'm still scared because my friend posts them. It was just a feel, not an excuse since it's not like I'm in an official group or anything
>>
>>9119019
I'm actually someone different than the first anon... But you do have to practice. If you complain you aren't good enough then that's all you're going to be. Nobody is perfect when they just start out.

2une released their music video. The not Japanese own (Sneko?) can't lip sync. I wish there was more to the video like duo shots or dance shots. You really can't even call it a music video, more like close up version.

Oh god that 30+ year old hag running 48O! is seriously trying to do this. This isn't going to turn out good.

http://www.usa50project.com/
>>
>>9125506
Ever since the anime was released, it was my dream as well.
>>
>>9126544
1. Who are you talking about?
2. What is 48O!?
>>
>>9126544
unsure what old hag you're talking about, almost sounds like a self post.
Regardless, why does this sound like rip off of AKB48?
>>
>>9126841
>>9129139
Not that anon but 48O! is an AKB48/48G news page/group on fb and the owner of both wants young girls to audition fort her ripoff AKB48 group. Its the same concept of "getting America noticed by Akimono and 48 Staff to get an official group in the states" like what Hoshi did with NYC48. People are even telling her a group like 48G wouldn't translate to America but she is too delusional to listen which apparently "drives her to do this more"

I cant wait to see all of this turn into a trainwreck like it did with Hoshi's NYC48 group. Its only a matter of time until the delusion wears off when none sends in applications.

If you know someone who is considering sending in an application, please talk them out of it. This woman and the others working within the staff have zero entertainment business skills and she even puts this USA50 crap before her own newborn child.
>>
>>9129743
Wow what the fuck? Honestly, it sounds and looks like a horrible mix of Hello! Project and AKB. Idol culture won't work in America. Why can't people who want to be like AKB and H!P see that?
>>
>>9129800
If idol culture were to work in the states, it would need to stick in the convention scene. There have been successful idol concerts with sold out shows in the US but it won't translate well if someone were to become famous off idol culture here in the states. Like the anon said, USA50 is a trainwreck in the making.
>>
>>9129818
That's exactly my point though? I wasn't anywhere close to saying it wasn't a train wreck or that it would work. Idol culture won't work in the US. Actual idols from Japan and Korea are different stores.
>>
>>9129832
Goddamn it. *Stories
>>
>>9097340
If I wasn't moving, anon.

My friend and I were actually supposed to start a group a few years ago. She actually won some school dancing event in Japan a while back with her school group. I watched it and I wasn't too impressed with the dance, but it still would've been cool. She had some fans.
>>
>>9129901
That's probably because charm can be even more important than talent in (underground) idols. But I see more cringe than charm within those groups with their fake animu accents and their crappy pronounciation.
>>
>>9130216
That's because they think charm=kawaii uguu teehee. Speaking in a forced cutesy voice and flailing pigeon-toed dancing is only vaguely cute in anime, and even then it's quite annoying. People who have a more innocent, childlike air without being any of the above are a lot more charming and a lot less irritating... but the 'idol groups' who go for that approach are the ones who think that practicing cutesy faces in the mirror is more important than learning to dance.
>>
>>9131080
Don't forget singing. God don't forget singing.
>>
What is your favorite dance you've learned so far? Also, would you rather use YT or NND?
>>
How many hours do you train a week?
>>
>>9131277
Oh jesus.
You don't need to be a kawaii version of Alvin and the Chipmunks to be an idol. Hell, you don't even need to be great at singing- a few lessons and a lot of practice will make almost anyone decent enough to sing in a group.
But no, being kawaii aidoru desuuu means eardrum-shattering squeaks and running out of breath ten seconds in because you didn't think to practice singing while prancing about.
>>
>>9117548
Jenny always reminded me of a muppet. Not sure why.
>>
Predictably, Sigma smacked the shit outta every cover group in AniRevo 2016's competitive, if EPS Infinity had competed things may have been more fair since they actually can dance + decent visuals

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CG1YHZDHtR0&feature=youtu.be
>>
>>9134353
It may not be the best or most complex dance, but Start Dash. It's the first I learned, so it's got the most sentimentality to it.
>>
Hoshi Teruko's at it again, this time performing for an audience of 4 blatantly bored people who just want to eat.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lv4SFbrXnmc
>>
>>9138367
When will she stop. The outfit is so unflattering on her (not that everything else doesn't look unflattering on her). It really sounds like she just went in there with zero practice again. I really hope someone will tell her she actually needs to practice before a performance. What a mess.
>>
>>9138414
Lol she's an idiot who doesn't know how to listen. The only way she's gonna learn that is through torture.
>>
>>9136940
Wtf, they're so out of sync...
>>9138367
This belongs in the cringe thread. Hunched shoulders and emotional anime faces look autistic as shit, no matter what. Nothing she is wearing suits her. Her voice would sound great with a lot of autotune and/or delusion, but it desperately needs work if she wants to sing somewhere that isn't the shower.
This is physically painful in every way but I admire her confidence. Not many people could genuinely think that they did a good job of entertaining others in that situation.
>>
>>9139503

Believe me, the others are much worse...

People have told her, she just doesn't listen to anyone who doesn't tell her she's perfect and obvi the next Takamina.
>>
>>9141613
I've seen only the same few people only defend her. Her fan base consist of her school friends or delusional friends, including the chick she did her most recent failed group with.

I really wish people wouldn't be so afraid to sit down and tell her what is wrong, why we talk about her on here, and how she can improve if there is any hope. I really have never seen someone with so much delusion in my life and I just hope someone can call her out so she can snap back into reality.
>>
>>9141649
If you don't think anyone has done that then you don't understand the whole "behind closed doors" thing. More than enough people tell her what's wrong and offer to help but she does not listen because she thinks she's oh so perfect. Hoshi needs to sit the fuck down and stay quiet if she can't learn to listen.
>>
>>9141649
I believe she deletes any comments not praising her, at least on facebook. Then they're just a "hater" and don't understand her greatness or are "jealous" of her "talent.
>>
>>9142723
I've had my comments deleted by her. She likes to ask for opinions on how she can improve but she ends up deleted every comment with actual criticism and keeps the ones that say "oh your so perfect don't change u don't need practice!!1!"

It's so irritating because in the "kawaii genki aidoru world" she thinks is real is all about rainbows and "mahou" friendships when it's literally the opposite. People WILL criticize you. People WILL make fun of you. Even if your a top idol like Takamina or whoever the fuck she wants to be. If she can't handle the actual helpful criticism, god forbid if she makes it into the idol business she won't last an hour.

Yeah I'm mad.
>>
>>9142789
Takamina isn't even that great. But yeah she's not last an hour in serious idol training. She'd probably start throwing tantrums when they try to correct her and would probably get kicked out just for being a brat.
>>
>>9138367
this shit is entertaining kek
she's my favourite aidoruuuuuuuu!!

I think my least favorite part of this group isn't even how off sync they are. I can handle off sync as long as they look like they're not being held at gunpoint to do the dance.
>>
>>9139546
I felt bad for the first group though when their music fucked up. Couldn't find footage of it but their Eli was kind of funny when she tried to improvise across the stage when it happened.
>>
What happened to Amaitsuki..? Sloppy dancing and horrible singing.. Especially that black chick, her voice and face are so unfortunate.

https://youtu.be/cgaf_WpYtvk
>>
>>9143315
Wait are they not dudes......?
>>
>>9144001
Melodie? She has always been unfortunate. That's why she uses a shitload of filters and lighting to fix herself in pictures. Her dancing, singing/voice, and face is general has always been unfortunate. She also tries too hard to be Aminyan, almost a poor-quality generic version.
>>
Hidtode Army's new cover is amazing. Bless their hardworking souls

They're amazing. I've watched their cover twice now.
>>
I wish I could dance, but I don't have anyone to dance with.
I would probably suck anyway.
Sage for irrelevant rambling.
>>
>>9146254
my only complaint is some people getting cut off in some shots but besides that they seem pretty good.
>>
>>9146477
You don't /need/ anyone to dance with you if you want to dance??? I've been dancing by myself for 8 years but the community in my area has been growing more recently. If your concerned about dancing alone, reach out to people?? Make an effort??
>>
>>9146621
Eh, one advantage to having a partner over going solo is that you have someone who can catch more mistakes and give you feed back.

>>
>>9146721
As this anon said >>9146621
>reach out to people
People doesn't need to know how to dance, to know if they enjoyed a dance video or if it was cringe. Film yourself dance, and if you can't handle critique from the internet, ask your friends/community for concrit instead.

>>9147028
I love Manako so much
>>
Hoshi quit apparently? Anyone have caps?
>>
>>9150354
Quit what? She quit an idol group she created, Rebel Symphony, last month but I think that was so she could focus on trying to become a real idol
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62QKEugAuwk
>>
>>9150354
>>9150492
She made a whole hissy fit post about quitting being a net idol because net idols are all meanies who don't tell her she's perfect in every way. Then the next day made a post about her wanting to be a real idol. Oh and apparently she knows who all of us are.
>>
>>9150492
i'm the dog
>>
>>9150970
Where did she post about quitting?

She just uploaded a video about her definition of what an idol is and the kind of idol she wants to be
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qcUdyNZ_q0
(You can hear her repeatedly snorting mucus through-out the video and it's fucking disgusting)
>>
>>9151332
Facebook.
>>
>>9151332
What the fuck is she even saying? It's like you need a transcript to even understand her.
>>
There was a Honoka cosplayer organising a Love Live dance gathering at a local con. It was kinda fun until there was a group who took over and insisted the organiser play the song to practise for the cosplay comp. Oh well, it was fun dancing to two dances.
>>
>>9151332
Was she crying? Where the fuck are her parents.
>>
>>9151332
"I may have said her last name wrong" Hunny you said every name you said wrong.
>>
>>9152283
Nope, seems like she just never blows her nose. And as for parents I would guess they spoil her and just encourage her delusions. Either that oblivious to her activities.

>>9100296
Actually there are plenty decent groups in the UK, but cringey groups will always be posted more often on 4chan.

Does she practice basic hygiene? Her teeth look horrible and always looks greasy or dirty. Are her parents just as delusional or just so oblivious about her and the gofundmes?
>>
Does anyone have any advice for those who are starting out and are busty/thicc. I was thinking of buying a sports bra for dancing cause my chest kept hurting when I practice.
>>
>>9154084
Honestly I would say they probably do know. Unless she manages to post and film whenever they aren't home which would explain why she's always looking around like a paranoid weirdo.
>>
>>9154091
>not having a sportsbra for dancing already
>"busty/thicc" code for fat
Don't even try. You reek of noob.
>>
>>9106740
They're not bad dancers, and they all seem pretty enthusiastic. Honestly my main problem is the outfits. Even if they wore cheap bodyline seifukus or something, it would be better than wearing somewhat nerdy workout clothes.
>>
>>9143471
They'd look a lot better if they got rid of the pigtailed chick. It's almost an achievement to be that out of sync with the entire rest of the group.
>>
>>9144001
Song aside, is anyone else getting uncomfortable ageplay vibes about the intro
>>
>>9154657
The beginning portion where they play at the playground gave that vibe throughout the whole video. I couldn't shake it off either. This is just a bad video overall.
>>
>>9154654
Their most recent video shows off the uniform they began wearing this year. I saw them at a local con this past weekend and they have improved a lot since that Tumblr Kidz video.

https://youtu.be/6ncd8RJOGQA
>>
>>9154091
buying a suitable sports bra alone will really help
also be sure to dress appropriately, many tend to ignore what flatters their body more.
>>
I've always ignored these threads for some reason. Seeing some of these vids makes me wonder why, and also rekindle some teenage wannabe-a-weeb feels

For like 10 years now I've wanted to do j dance but never...did. I just moved into the city, so I now have easy access to all sorts of interesting and fun things, and no excuse to not start dancing.

Earlier I was looking up if there was any dance classes, found a kpop one that happens rather close to my apartment. I looked up pics though and it's full of fat weebs. I feel like it's a disaster waiting to happen, though may be the start of some good greentexts.
Anyway, how do you find other people? I've found all sorts of local dance groups for every other style under the sun, but other than this one kpop class, I failed at finding a j or k group. I don't even have friends so I'm pretty inept.

....are some of their members disabled?

Do LL! and KPOP Mix? Up for you guys to decide

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zfImnAV_AC8
>>
>>9156245
I love Kaotsun for her dancing. But she always cosplays with her natural black-roots-all-over-the-place and generic as ef makeup and it annoys me. At least her dancing is top notch
>>
>>9154789
Whoa, that's much better! Good on them.
>>
>>9156245
Oh man, I was waiting for an LL group to attempt this. It's pretty good, just wish their transitions were a little more lively. Most of them kind of just walk into places, it breaks the flow of energy. Also huuuuge missed opportunity to have Rin = Jeongyeon, but good on Eli = Momo.
>>
>>9154841
If i were you i would probably go along to the kpop one at least once and see how it goes. If you get good and there are others there who are good you could maybe start your own with them. If not, like you said it might give you a few good stories!
>>
i had somehow managed to miss Koreos until now, are they a well known group? The girl in the brown skirt is really good
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCWiM5BBki4
>>
>>9162021
i find k-pop boring so I don't pay attention to k-pop dance groups. Just from watching a 1/4 of the video, you can tell they put effort and probably take classes on the side to improve. Other groups should take note.
>>
>>9162235
Considering it's a college dance team, there's probably someone there teaching them (it even says they were made by a student association). So of course they'd be better.
>>
>>9153695
Na you'd know them if you were interested. I'm not about to post anyone decent in 4chan where good or not they'll get shredded.
>>
>>9150492
idk but the dog is making me laugh so hard
>>
Sorry this is a really vague description but does anyone by chance know the name of a group of 2 black people (girl and guy) that often do their own original choreography to dances? I saw a video of them some time ago and I'm trying to find it again. (Unfortunately i can't remember the name of the song either)
>>
>>9163169
Your talking about Ari Ki? Here is their channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/BorderlineChocolate
>>
>>9163192
Yessss! Dreamin chuchu is the video I saw. Are they actually both girls? Oops. Anyway, thank you anon
>>
Im curious, feel free to answer my questions if you want!

Do any of you choreograph new dance routines or do you prefer to learn existing ones?

Do you do dancing other than odottemita, and in what capacity? Eg at home, go to classes, professionally etc

Is there music other than Asian music that you think this type of dancing would go well with, for example any western songs or artists?
>>
>>9164033

>is there music that this type of dancing goes well with?

anon pls, odottemita means "I tried to dance" it goes well with all music.
>>
>>9164106
I know that it means that, but most/all of the dancing posted here is a certain 'type'
>>
>>9164033
I only learn pre-existing dances, I don't have an eye/ear for choreography I guess. I tried once or twice but it kind of doesn't make sense to me or whatever.

Not anymore, but growing up I did a few dance classes. I do yoga and basic gymnastics at home now, which probably helps a bit with moves that require a bit of 'grace' and flexibility.

There are a few songs that when I'm listening to them I can imagine dancing to like this. Quite a few Marina and the Diamonds songs, some Bastille ones (like Pompeii), and That Poppy are some I've listened to recently and had that feeling. Like I said though I can't really choreograph so it'll never go anywhere!

Since It's September, which means Halloween is slowly on It's way, could I request some dances more on based on a spooky/Halloween feel? If there are any out there.
>>
>>9168599
Well Otome no Gyakushuu has an overall "creepy" sorta feel especially since they all look like vampires in a fucking castle during the MV. Moonlight Night by MM, Halloween Night obviously.
