Hey, me again.
I just got another dress off the list, so unless it's dirt cheap, I'm not really in a place to buy atm.
Just dropped a bunch on cosplay supplies for AX, so that money went to a couple good places!
I saw last time there was drama over a couple of these dresses in another thread, so going forward, if any anons need a name for something here, I'll supply.

I've been trying to track down some of these taobao brand dresses, Nightmare BlackDeath, Knight Night Glory Heart are seemingly especially difficult. Has anyone successfully used Taobao2?

Has anyone ever seen a cape for le Petit Chaperon Rouge for sale? I got the JSK as it was one of my top tier dream dresses, but I feel weird wearing it without the cape. It's languishing in my closet.

One of my dream dresses has come up in my preferred cut and colorway, but has some minor damages. Do any of you gulls have experience with this? Should I go ahead and but it? I can fix some of the damages but one piece will have to be replaced.

It depends on the damage. I personally don't buy things that have missing pieces, but I did buy a pretty jacked up AP blouse that I was able to repair. I used a fusible web to fix some lace tears, reattached some buttons, gave it a good press and now it looks good as new.

What is wrong with the bit that has to be replaced?

Recently I just bought a dream item of mine that I never see come up. A seam was ripped but it was heavily discounted. If it can be fixed and the price isn't stupid I don't see why one would hold back. Especially if it rarely pops up.

There may be an extra button seen to the care instructions label. Also, depending on where the missing button spot is, you could switch it out for another button on the piece from a less conspicuous place.

It does! It comes in the pink/red (what I got), I believe a purple/pink, and a blue/purple. It also comes in 3 cuts. The one I got, a regular OP, and a weird jersey/print mix. I personally would have preferred the regular OP but that is seriously impossible to find, more than the other cuts. Also, I wanted to make sure it would fit no problem! Wunderwelt sold one recently, and I bought mine on Rakuten! Other than that, I haven't seen it often.

You could dye it, but you'd have to get a special synthetic dye. However, that's a tough fabric to dye, so it would take a lot of work and probably wouldn't get to be a super dark black, but rather a very dark gray.

Here's the three different cuts. The one with the jersey knit top and printed bottom is so hard to find pictures of, I only found a worn picture on Instagram. These are also the two other colorways it comes in besides Pink/Red.

I measured mine flat across, bust is 15-16", waist is 14" - 16", length from waist to bottom hem is 21". Hope this helps, anon!

So I finally got a hold of Honey Cake jsk a bit ago. I settled for the jsk even though I've had my heart set on the OP for years. I love it and it's lovwly and amazing, but it's just not the same. One day.

desu I think the JSK is the better choice for this. The design is really similiar (compared to ther OP-JSK differences) with the bow and the bib. Just imagine how many more coords you can do with different blouses!

I just wanted to point out how similiar both versions are and that JSKs are way more versatile. I used to prefer the Cinema Doll OP over the JSK until I owned it and the coords you could do were really limited. And in this case the difference betwen OP and JSK are really just the sleeves.

Yeah, well ive had other AP OPs with nearly identical cuts as the HC OP, and I really love the fit. This is my second time owning the jsk, and I originally just went with the jsk off the AP site necause it was cheaper and I thought the same thing, a jsk would ne pretty versatile. But it just isnt the same, like >>9038118 it just doesn't cut it if it's not the cut you really want. It's pretty hot where I live so i like OPs because you dont have to worry about layers and blouses. I don't think I'll give up the jsk until i have the ivory OP safely in my closet. After looking and loosing out for so long at this point I'd rather have the second best cut then nothing at all, but it just doesn't satisfy me.
