Why the sudden Dolly Wink dislike? I noticed they've been toning down their lashes a lot and don't look too gyaru anymore. Which of the brands is better for a more classic gyaru lash look? Which is also the most comfortable?

I've only tried dolly and diamond, and out of those two I muuuuch prefer diamond (only talking about uppers here) but I'm very much into a heavy top lash, and dolly is just so, not that gyaru these days

Not really, but a lot of older gals who disappeared have come out of hiding recently. Natalie in particular is looking really great, she was always 'ehh not quite there' before but her make looks fantastic now.

Gals, if anyone can help me it's you. What are those curly hair extensions that come in individual strands that look EXACTLY like noodles called? .. It's not a weave, they have to be braided in.

I have already been to all the afro beauty shops I know.. I remember being able to find them maybe 15 years ago but not anymore.
They almost look like pic related but even tighter. I'm not exaggerating when I call them noodles.

It's for my mom so anything is helpful. I'm already looking through pages and pages of "curly extensions" but nothing similar is showing up.

I'm debating what style of gal I should wear to this convention coming up. Seeing as I will be representing gyaru to a whole bunch of newbies I want to look good and hella gal.

I am inbetween kuro and kogal right now but I'm not sure. Do you guys have any suggestions?

I'd suggest going with the style you wear the most. Between kuro and kogal, I'd say kuro, because it's one of most iconic styles and, as you put it, "hella gal". Kogal is very specific style aimed at specific group, what needs to be explained to newbies. Kuro is much better expample of what gyaru is.

if it is about haircolour palettes, add some yellow or purple, if it's about clothes: seriously any vibrant colours, black/white, and camo/animal prints can work with it. Hot pink is a hit or miss, but when combined with other vibrant colours is just fine.

agejo, i am not so sure because it is not my pubstyle but thats something to try out

in general, as long as your outfit is balances, haircolour isn't much to worry about.
if your outfit is blue/black/white for example, as a blue flower to your red hair
if the outfit is black/white, I like to add a red bracelet, shoes or purse.

if you are tsuyome/rokku/etc, don't be afraid to clash a bit, since opposite colour families make each other stand out

Mint is actually a great choice, big combo in the rockabilly/pinup/vintage scene. Since its the opposite colourspectrum and a pastelly colour it makes the red stand out even more!
