I'm skinny, but I'd never be thin enough for this shit because of my wide set body. Why couldn't I have been into normalfag fashion instead of this japanese bullshit.

I'm about 5'9" and am into general jfash and lolita.
Although I'm slim I have a bit of an athletic build from exercise and have wide shoulders, muscular legs, and a straighter waist. I have a small bust though and again, am pretty skinny so I can still fit most stuff.

Fitted dresses can be annoying because if the waist doesn't sit too high, it's too tight because of my lack of defined waist.
Shoes and tights are a territory I cannot even approach.

Jackets that fit are so hard to find because I am the literal definition of an inverted triangle. I have my dad's linebacker shoulders and indented hips.

OP here, I also have no defined waist. Not only that, my torso is as long as my legs. So in pictures I look average, if not short, but irl I can't wear tights, leggings or one-piece swimsuits.

I'm tall and nothing fit me either and when I complained to my mom she just said "You should just make your own stuff to fit you."

She was SO right. Fashion flat out refused to think there were girls over 5'8" where I live so I was so effing put out that I couldn't wear all the nice stuff.

I made a simple sundress as my very first clothing item and I haven't looked back since.

I'm 6'0 with huge thunder thighs courtesy of mom's genes. I know your struggle so well. I would have given $40 for a cute pair of tights but alas they don't care if you're over 5'7" and more than a size 8.

It might be me being a lil dumdum, but most of the things I order, even in 2L, have the proportions off so they don't fit well.

Measure measure measure.

Everyone on there is going by their own size rules & asian sizes are much smaller than US/Euro sizes.
So read the measurements they post and match them up with your own.
One of the tops I got from taobao was a size 6XL just to have it fit me. I'd never be a 6XL in America. But I am in China.

Definitely look at plus sized garments. I also look at dresses/skirts with longer lengths. Like a midi dress I got is knee length, a maxi skirt is midi length, so they're definitely wearable unlike something short. Be weary of getting anything long sleeved unless the measurements absolutely check out for you.

Am I blind? I get sock dreams recommended to me all the time being a tall fag and I can never find any decent lolita appropriate socks other than solid colored knits which I have more than enough of. Looking for classic style mainly.
