Can't win them all, I guess. But at least both costumes were fun and I made lots of friends. I have found myself tending towards characters with armor, masks and/or heels though so I can feel cooler and larger and less prepubescent all the time.

Go full trooper. Intentionally get a size too big, act "suspiciously casual". Leave a "tail" of jedi robe spilling out of the oversized armor. Anyone calls you on it simply jedi wave them and say "nothing is wrong, I am not suspicious, everything is fine, move along"
