The headbow that goes with the special set is a barrette, not a headband, and it's an awkward size to work with. The special set is a weird pink-lavender that AP doesn't use for other things, so I can't just swap in something else (god, I wish I could).

The plain pink headbow looked weird and dumb alone. The lavender headbow added to it wouldn't pin the way I wanted and I didn't have enough safety pins because I forgot to pack them. When they were added together, they looked super off balance. So I had to balance them out with more bows. Started adding bows, nothing would stay where I wanted. The color balance was way off. Nothing would sit the way I wanted. And I didn't have the right number of bows in the right colors. Things kept sliding around while I was packing too and I didn't realize how much things moved.

...and then I needed to get out of the hotel because of check out and I was exhausted.

I looked in the mirror basically said "this looks like crap and I don't have time to fix it, fuck it".

And then I went with it because I'm not a model, and I'm not perfect and sometimes things just don't work out the way I want, and that's just life. This was the best I could do with what I had to work with that day.

I don't like how the pins are pinned. I don't like that the necklace is crooked. I don't like how I'm posed. I don't like that I'm half way between OTT sweet and deco.

I was not happy with this at all. But the fact of the matter is that I'm never going to be 100% happy with any coordinate or any photo of myself. I'm just not one of those people that takes great photos. I'm never going to be that person, and I'm ok with that. I'll keep doing my best, and trying to improve, but I'm not sitting there thinking I'm hot stuff or the most perf lolita or that I'm above anyone giving me feedback or anything like that. I just didn't want people to put a lot of time into giving me feedback on a coord I already know is bad.

Maybe this a nitpick comment, but the color is bight ass red and all the colors in the coord are lighter and cooler tones. A lighter and cooler wig like a milk tea color probably have been a better fit for the light and fluffy feel she's obviously going for.
