I miss old school fairy kei with natural or dyed hair, less clutter/accessories and the 80's casual feel. It was sooo much lighter and natural.
The fairy kei western people wear nowdays looks more like pastel decora clusterfuck.

Ah, I tend to have yellow undertones as well. But most of it's not on my face but rather my neck so I just hide my neck a lot or as much as I can. (damn you summer...)
I do get really bad rosacea tho, which is usually pink/red which can be cute but not if it's all over your face, then you just look drunk. So that blows but I just use make up to off set it. Surely you can do the same for yellow undertones.

I'll wear sweet more chocolate themed cords and floral cords but I have to make sure they aren't blue based because I look sick when I wear colors like that.

I could use makeup to make my face neutral/cool toned but I don't like to wear really heavy face makeup since I don't need heavy coverage. I just stick to like a tinted sunscreen type product and the ones where I am are usually a little too dark so I mix in more sunscreen

I don't mind it because it's just the way I am. warm colors do wonders for me so I figure I can just do that.

It was fun. We walked around Camden for a while, went to Cyberdog, then to MooBoo, the bubble tea place, then took photos. After that some people went to a Japanese restaurant to eat, some people went to Starbucks and some people went to go look around Camden some more. The only bad thing was that is was raining the whole time. I think everyone enjoyed themselves though. Can't wait for the next one.

By the way, i want to get these pleated skirts in pic related in many colors but i fear to look like a potato, i'm not fat but my legs are a bit thick, waist is almost unexsistent and generally i'm flat like a tube and no tummy except the damn legs, also short torso. I think the best tip i can give you in terms of skirts is to make sure it FITS on your waist (even if its practically nonexistant), in between your belly button and the bottom of your rib cage. Most pleated skirts have an a-line shape and if the waist fits correctly it will give the allusion of a defined waist
speaking as a flat-chested banana shaped female, I can tell you it helps, a lot.

I love drop waist skirts, these are the only type of skirts that fits me right like the Milklim one!I have two drop waist AP skirts one is lolita (Toy Parade) the other more fairy kei/decora oriented (Girly Dot in dark pink), they look fabulous and the waist is adjustable!I suggest to buy drop waist AP mini skirts they are really good for fairy kei, confy but beware the length if you are tall, i'm just 5'2 and they hit me knee length.
These fake circle H&M skirts look like shit and fitting too, they look too saggy and the waist is unconfortable, for this i love to stick with no elastic/side zipper skirts like the pleated ones or drop waist.Pic related is the Girly Dot skirt i have.

I bought Toy Parade for 9000 yen on Mbok more than a year ago, it was a real chance with the low yen rate, at that time in Euro was around 60, you should check Mbok or Yahoo JP auctions for real deals, i'm not sure if CAD Yen conversion rates are good right not but i can find print and non printed skirts and salopettes that no one wants/unpopular for cheap, the Girly Dot one was just 20 euro lol, there was a tiny loose thread by usage but i fixed it. I wanted to get this skirt (Shy Bear Applique) i saw it many times on auctions for dirt cheap but i'm not sure if i fit it, because i have some butt lol, it could ride too high and mini sized!Unfortunately not many Western people are into AP casual pieces and finding non asians wearing this pieces is really hard, not just because they don't fit, it's the "wahhh ageplay" bullshit or i'm not sure why.
That polkadot skirt look really cute, i hope to find similar ones but the last one i bought (navy colored) was too saggy on me and i had to sell it.

Then just buy a cheap pair of bear ears and a thick needle and thread the whole thing with your new fluffy yard until you can't see the original fabric anymore

It's not a matter of it looking nice, it is moreso of a matter of it actually looking like fairy kei.
The outfit you posted has a couple pastel colors and looks -nice-, but doesn't fit the cutesy dreamy aesthetic of fairy kei. Your image shows more of a mature pastel look and it is lacey and dainty instead of being sweet and cutesy.
Maybe try a shirt with a cute character on it or a cute designed resin necklace and some pastel legwarmers! Pic related is a good example of casual fairy kei and I will post another picture that fits it too
