I'd like this one but as in the other attempts all those huge red scars are too much. I can't stop looking at that hand, it's NASTY. Anyway, sure burn injuries leave the skin scarred, but it's not like it stays red forever, if it happened years ago it should be a similar color to the rest of the body.

I understand that.
But the uniform is fucking easy. It's not like you're going to spend a month richly detailed embroidery and special patterns. A beginner could make it in a week.

It's a pleated skirt and a white blouse with puffed sleeves and a tie.
Make it as a Sunday fun costume for your group. Take a few photos at a school or something and that's it.

Thank you for this! While I'm here, I was wondering if anyone knew how to do Madoka's uniform too? I'm hoping to find a matching plaid skirt without having to go through the hassle of sewing that too.

It seems to be a blouse with a thin jumper, but is it even possible? The jagged 'lace' looks like so much work.

Madoka's uniform is a mandarin collar long-sleeved blouse with a cream/yellow puff-sleeved pullover and pleated skirt. You can easily find similar enough lace trim to use in most major fabric stores.

You'll just want to take two of the longer strands of your wig and cut them short. After that just spray them with some product to keep them sticking up and it should be good.
