My jimmies are a little rustled because this sort of thing happened to me a while back, someone had actually gone through and traced a bunch of my fanart and made personal coloring pages out of it back in the day, but they posted them on deviantart with minimal credit and then when people started coloring the pieces they were uploading them with no credit whatsoever. I mean, yeah it's harder to try and claim that your pink and green recolor of Sugary Carnival is your Own Original Lolita Print (do not steel), but it really rubs me the wrong way and I'm silently judging anybody who supports this pretty hard.

The initial price charged by AP (exclusive bonus given to customers paying over x-amount) does not impact the copyright.

What are you talking about? Secondhand meta tends to cost less, sure, but if you want one of the more coveted meta pieces then you still need to spend at least $200 minimum, on average. The only meta replicas are pretty much of that, the more coveted/rare pieces. Also, only certain cuts of meta are plus size friendly and again, of the pieces that are replicas, the real ones don't go as big (meaning like, 100+ cm).

I'm not trying to defend them at all, I'm just saying meta isn't that ~flexible in price and not all meta pieces (especially the replicated ones) are as plus size friendly as you seem to think, though yes, they are very good for that and they are good about releasing at least 1 cut that's more forgiving in size.
