They are, but I think it's because of different textures.

The lighting is pretty off, too (I'm not sure if that apron is pink or white), but I think they were also trying for a (salmon) pink x (pink) pink x (dark) pink coord with some blue thrown in.

I'd like to tell you it's a good or bad coord in one way or another, but with all the whites looking off, I'd say you can't really tell until you see it irl. Just enjoy pic for the number of bows and usakumya or something.

I feel sad about you guys, but you can dress OTT sweet if you want so bad!There are some 30+ years old lolitas (and not asian) that rock sweet lolita like Shelbycircus if i remember her name correctly. I will be 26 this year and i plan to buy the most pastel vomit items, even salopettes and sack dresses or toy prints. Strangely, most people say i look best with salos rather jsk and i'm white, age doesn't matter if you want to try sweet, at least if you don't feel to be too pastel vomit, try old school sweet or chocolate themed sweet.

Can't find any exactly like that pic right now but To Alice on Taobao is selling the collars and some fuku tops with puffy albeit long sleeves.

Where do people buy their sweet lolita accessories? I just have the very basic of basic outfits and having trouble sprucing it up. Some purses and headbows are all that I have.

I'll have some for a few upcoming conventions. I usually end up selling out them quickly when I do artist alley. But I sit on them for months between cons, so I don't even bother stocking them anymore otherwise. I'll be ordering more next week for an upcoming convention, otherwise I'll have more around mid-late May.

I plan on making a few designs that are more elegant in nature and less lisa frank piss.

I am really found of kerakerak on taobao, as well as dolly house on etsy. Really depends on what type of jewelry you're found of. I like the gold/silver chain based jewelry so q-pot is just my style, but if you like the resin pieces AP/BTSSB make more you'd be better off on storenvy/etsy searching up fairy kei goods.

I'm 25 and in the same boat. I never had the money for it back then and I am only now building up my sweet wardrobe. I don't really care that it's not in anymore because I don't look too old and wear it for myself and not meets or cons.

You guys should still wear it. Better now than in five years!!
