Autism is a gift in my case, I have an IQ of over 150 which makes me technically a genius thanks to my autism. I've been going through school all my life being bored out of my fucking brains getting at least 95% on all my tests (and all the incorrect answers were silly mistakes) because I'm just too fucking smart for school I can't wait for everyone else to learn something I already knew within the first day or too of being taught it. Every year I scored the best of my year on these stupid multiple choice tests we do and the headmaster came to my class to tell me that, which obviously resulted in being called a 'nerd' which is true but I shouldn't be ridiculed for it.

I recently became home educated so I could learn at my own pace and I'm getting my GCSEs done in 1/4 of the time everyone else has to do it in, I'm also doing more than double the average amount of GCSEs that usually would be done.

I used to get paid $30 an hour working online, which is more than the teaching assistants at my old school earned, it was so fun pointing that out to them.

So, in conclusion, calling someone autistic is not an insult, in my case, it makes me highly gifted.

One more thing, I don't know if this has anything to do with my autism but I am a sociopath so I'm not hindered by irrational emotions like guilt, compassion, empathy etc.

I found out about furries through some former weeb friends of mine. We liked wearing cat ears and similar things. It didn't help that I liked kawaii art (including some furry), so I figured furries would be something like that.

Oh, was I wrong.

Almost everyone I met was some kind of "animal": "I'M REALLY A WOLF AT HEART, MEOW MEOW MEOW, anyone that isn't a scalie triggers me", etc. Almost the entire group was full of autists and basket cases. A lot of them liked to hit on others while sober or drunk. Hugs and groping attempts were normal along with all sorts of other creepy actions. There was always an abundance of cringe-worthy behavior and "quirkiness" and everyone seemed to tolerate each other(?????). If you weren't quirky and "lolsorandomXD", you would stand out. Everyone had to one-up each other, somehow. This was "usual".

Some would talk about "Furry Pride", yiffing in fursuits, "orgies" and almost all of them were obsessed with Disney-esque anthro crap. Confessing kinks and talking about BDSM was the norm. Clearly, I had fallen into the deep end.

Also, the secondhand embarrassment was real. I couldn't help but think "what an low point I've reached" and other thoughts. This didn't even last two months and I already had many reasons to distance myself.

I don't think I was ever a furry to begin with. Mind you, I thought I wouldn't meet so many creeps and autists. Now, I just let furries do their thing, but damn, they are a good source of keks.

Sorry about the blog post and shitty writing. I'm tired. All I know is that I want nothing to do with furries ever again. I cringe talking about them.

The anime club runs a ton of meetings through the year, everything from cosplay roller skating, to "cosplay disco" dances, and even an annual convention. Most people would love having so many events I would think, but the club is ran by one guy and his small group of friends. They make all the art, name the events, and are super cringe-inducing. The guy won't let new people in to organize because he is worried that he will be overthrown, which is how this club was formed.

I threw together a shitty crop of some of the official artwork for the club's events.

This past year at their con, one staff member was in charge of two separate panels. She didn't attend either of her panels, one of which was a tea party. She didn't tell the other host where she was or what she was doing. Instead of being at the panel, she was running around in a different cosplay taking pics and dodging responsibilities.
Another staff member was in charge of running the card tournaments, but he left the prizes at his home the first day of tournaments. The second day, he didn't even show up, so another staff member got put in charge. This replacement also had his own panels that he didn't show up to.

The maid cafe was also cancelled last minute for undisclosed reasons. They just sold/gave away the snacks they were supposed to be serving at the maid cafe.
This is the $30 badge for the barely 300 people convention.
