I'm starting my lolita YT soon after researching, planning, and saving for months. I already have a lot of ideas outlined. I'm just waiting on the last of my equipment minus the camera to arrive as well as finalizing my personal branding plans. I've practiced speaking on camera to get over my shyness, but it's still a problem. I'm not used to interacting with the camera like it's an actual person.

As for cameras, I'm still torn between the Sony A5000 and the Canon t5i. I'm really digging the Sony's size for convenience, as well as its Wifi capabilities for Instagram posting. However, I'm still drawn to the t5i. I'm aware that the auto focus may be noisy, but I'm hoping it's fixable with an external mic.
As soon as I decide, I'm placing my order for a camera. Do you guys have any experience with either one?

Idk if I've seen that video of him on Kawaii Pateen. David has been wearing lolita a long, long time. He hails from DMV and made friends with the New York Lolitas at Otakon. I remember him from a special on Japanese fashion in New York in 2010 wearing lolita. He tried to break into the fashion world in New York and later in Los Angeles, but failed cause his college degree was shit. He moved to Japan in 2012 to teach English. If you ever met a male homosexual, their voices are pitched differently.

Your links should be noticeable, underlined/bold/italic/different colour, since you're highlighting other words in pink which aren't clickable. Distinguish the two. I agree about the images being clickable and popping out, an image should only be clickable if it directs somewhere or can be enlarged for detail.
I made an edit where I added a bit more padding between the headers, contents and links. The images are a bit too close to the text or too far away. Padding is another thing that should be consistent. I also distributed the colours of your background more as there was quite a lot of pinks mixing. I didn't have your font so I couldn't make them any bolder which are leaving the mints a bit faint obviously so if you were to use the mint, make sure to make things larger, bolder or even a bit darker. If you're going to use little gifs to decorate your blog then I think sticking to one theme or style would make it look a lot nicer. The bear you posted in an earlier blog was good so I just reused that as an example for your main picture and the donuts in your comment sections are nice.
Also your link to the thread about lolita in your latest post just directs to blogger.com. Double check your links before and after you post.

You should keep it then. I could suggest changing the colours of the profile gif that but that's probably rude to the original artist. I just noticed it's not at it's full size though, getting it to 100% where you can see the pixels might make it more suited for the page. Fullsize is 105 x 113 and it's 100 x 100 currently.
I think the pastel "thank you" message threw me off even though it's cute because it's just different to the background and your other graphics. With http://0hmarjorie.blogspot.co.nz/2016/01/egl-wardrobe-post-update.html you have the pink bow divider which is low contrast and soft looking but the thank you gif is quite clean and bright. Personally I like the look of the thank you gif but the bows suit your background. I just see a clash in styles but I'm stupidly picky.
Also I noticed with http://0hmarjorie.blogspot.co.nz/2016/01/2016-goals-little-bears-cafe.html your divider is larger than it should be as it's at 400 x 69 where the original is 287 x 50 so I don't know if you did that on purpose or not since you can see the divider at it's 100% view on the previous link.

Just hopping in to say that I recently made an Instagram and would appreciate some gothic instas to follow. I'm going to be scanning the thread for some ones I enjoy, but feel free to follow me! I plan on posting a lot of Lolita on there, since I really don't post a whole lot on any of my other blogs, but I haven't been able to wear it much due to adjusting to a recent loss in the family. Get Google analytics. Watch and see which blog posts get the most traffic and write more like them. Also, use social media to get your name out. An Instagram or Tumblr connected to your blog would be particularly good for otome.
