I'm a real big advocate of cosplay whatever the fuck you want regardless of what you look like but maaaaaaaan. it's stuff like this that makes it hard to hold up to that feeling.

I'm a fatty myself and I've cosplayed lovelive stuff, but usually stuff that I think flatters my body. (No stomach hanging out, no skirts that are super super short). There's nothing flattering about this at all. This is just a massive lack of taste and that bothers me more than anything.

Tbh I find nothing outrageous about PT anymore. She's losing weight and toned down her self-loathing so now she's on par with the average, overweight congoer with bad self-esteem. Not to mention obvious problems with her waning youth like every other 30 year old I've seen.

The only issue with this is that the costume is fucking boring. Riot has pool themed skins, but at least they have MORE than just "lets put em in a bikini".

The props are fuckin garbage too. At the very least you could try to re-invent her weapons to fit the silly pool party skins. (graves' water gun, leona's beach umbrella, etc).

When you just put on a fuckin bikini it's just lazy as fuck.

Get a wig for $15, get a cheap swimsuit/bikini that kinda look like the character and maybe some weapons, and tada, guaranteed Instagram likes
And nobody can tell you it's wrong because unless you do one of the existing skins there's no right or wrong

"It's pretty much enough said. I took a 60" long wig and created Belldandy's hair style. The 4 little pieces of hair are craft wire with leftover wig wefts hot glued together. I then hot glued the wire bits on top of the wig for placement. It took only 30 minutes to style. It's not the best, but I had to work with from what I got. "
