How long does artsmoo generally take? I just placed a cosmetic bag order and I'm going to be ordering a mass of pins for my bag soon, but I want to fill my bag up by the mid of March and I'm nervous it'll take weeks to process.

Also- Bag chains- What do you gulls use to display charms across the bag? Do you gulls use them at all? I'm thinking of using a necklace with large enough links in it for lobster clasps. Wait until you see their website. Dinosaurs everywhere! They're a little odd though since you don't have a shopping cart, you just have a form to fill out where you put the links in one part and then your color/amount info in another part. The only iffy part for me was not knowing shipping costs since they only provided you with a list of what they use and then linked you to the different shipping websites to get your own estimates.

I ended up just selecting Air Mail and wrote in the comments to please let me know if another choice was cheaper because without their address in China I couldn't get estimates from some of the shipping companies. It's only about 10 items in total so it can't be any worse than From Japan's shipping costs.

Search the secondhand sites like Suruga-ya, Lashinbang, or Mandarake for your lottery items (as well as other items). I did a couple of lotteries while in Japan, and the only reason why I managed to get my husbando is because there was an event for the lottery where girls were trading. The other lotteries I did at stores were a bust when it came to getting specific characters cause you were stuck with what you got and there was no one to trade with, but I did find some of the prizes for sale at the aforementioned stores.

For those that have made the ArtsBovine leggings, how did you go about putting the pictures together to make your pattern? Armin bag progress: I bought a bag from Crystal Clear Purses on Ebay, covered the top part with fabric, sewed some bows and lace trim on the straps. I made most of the buttons myself using blank buttons from Michaels. Things I still need to do:
-Finish the lace trim on the straps and possibly the bag itself.
-sew ends of fabric on inside of bag to keep it from fraying
-attach velcro to stick inner bag to outer bag and cut inner bag's straps off
- sew bows on bag permanently (maybe)
-get more buttons, such as ones using my own artwork and more official armin buttons
-get a couple more keychains/straps (there was a cute armin cushion one I want to get in particular)

Well, I'm still working deciding on what's practical for selling. In other words, quick to make well in order to earn a decent amount for my time, and that is priced competitively to what you can already buy on the market. But also I can of course make custom clear covers that fit a bag that you might already have.

Currently it depends on if the two I don't have emails for contact me by Wednesday or not since that's more than enough time for them to respond.

If they don't, I'll have room for one more since the Galaxy Masato-anon gets the other free space because they left an email and I already have a Galaxy s4 case on hand.

Trying not to have more than 5 at a time and emails get priority. If you have a Samsung Galaxy s5 phone (long shot) then that's an extra bump otherwise I'd have to order a case and you'd have to wait a few more weeks for me to even think about starting on it.

I'm sending out emails to the people I have though to confirm they still want the case so worst case, some of them drop out and I have a bunch of open slots. I'll find out by Wednesday.

instructions
>1. draw 2 circles on the paper, one the same size as your badge, the other slightly smaller. cut out each circle twice.

>3. create pleats like shown in the picture and attach just inside the outer edge of the circle. (I don't think it's meant to be sandwiched inside the inner rim of the two circles, but it doesn't say how exactly you're supposed to keep the pleats from falling out. perhaps it's wired ribbon?)
>4. once you reach the end of the length of ribbon, tuck the last bit underneath the first pleat so it doesn't stick out.
>5. secure with the stapler.
>6. do the same thing with the other circle.

I've tried to do something with it but nothing looks right and I keep buying more stuff to try and fix it and nothing seems to work at all so I finally quit in frustration and it's been sitting there ever since while I moved on to new bags which I had a much easier time with.

I'm T&B anon who had so much trouble a few months ago with their bag. Since then I've bought more merch but it's all keychains and stuff and the only way I think I can salvage it is to replace literally ALL the ball chains with necklace chains or even cellphone straps I can safety pin down. Even then because my merch isn't flat (and the sheer amount of it) I'd have to buy those $40 POMMOP gigantic bags. It's just tossing more money into the pit, basically.

This is basically all the merch that's available for the series that's itabag compatible. The buttons are fanmade, the 'Tiger' and 'Bunny' name badges are fanmade, the art cards are fanmade. Basically all I can find that's official is ball chain figures and strap figures, the rest I bought hoping I could use them as props (the fans) or attach them as is (the helmets and plushies)

Dude, don't sell your stuff! You have a lot of things that can go into an itabag. You can hang your ball chain figures in rows by necklace chains. You can also use the art cards if you get clear plastic ID card holders and hang them in the same manner or secured by safety pins!
If it comes down to it you can always have some badges made, too, but I think you can work wwith what you have. Don't give up anon

I have all the supplies bookmarked (like the ID holders and chains) but every time I go to buy it I end up just basically giving up and just feeling really unhappy when I look at everything I've bought already. I know there's potential in it but it boils down to me wondering if I'd even be happy if I ever finished it. My other two bags I have whole outfits planned for them and this one is just kind of like a chore now because I keep having to put more and more money into it and it doesn't get anywhere while if I sold it, I could use the money to finish my other two bags plus the outfits that go with them.

I'll give it one last try to salvage it with what I have on hand but otherwise I think I'll just keep the few pieces I really like (mostly the Kotetsu stuff) and sell the rest. Maybe I'll end up happier for it and make a Kotetsu only bag in the future.

I'm noticing that the more bags people have the less they seem to use clear totes.

Would it look better to have a smaller itabag with just one character, or a larger one with two?

Currently my main bag has two characters from the same series on it, and I like it, but also I'm not completely sure. One of the characters really doesn't have any obvious image colours and the merch doesn't have any real colour scheme. There are like five different colours going on (orange, pink, red, blue, lime). The other character does have a consistent colour scheme (red and purple/black), but I wonder if having a second character is too much, when the first character already has so much going on?

Yup! Honestly though comparing them to my legit rubber straps, they're pretty damn good. The backs of them are shinier/a bit tackier to the touch, and they don't have the copyright writing on the back of course, but that's really it.
Some are noticeably worse though like the Lancer strap, but that was a free gift from one of the sellers (along with that sticker on the side) so I'm really not going to complain. It had extra rubber on the sides but I just trimmed them off and it's fine now.

Since I'm doing a two-character bag I thought I could add to this. Honestly if the colors are going to seriously clash too much, maybe separate the bags? Like for example, Haru/Mako bags from Free! work well because the blue and green work with each other, whether you mix character merch together or separate one character for each side. Archer and Shirou are gonna work nice because they both have similar color schemes and aesthetics (red, black, and white with swords).

I'm working on an itabag right now and its just not coming out how i like with the plushes. I think it will probably help once I have a different colored/shaped bag because I feel the black is blending with the hair

I need your guys' expert help! haha I'm building my first ita bag. All of these items are on their way. The buttons with the red rings are 3 inches and the the rest are 2.25 inches. It still feels a bit bare. Once it arrives and I arrange everything I was thinking of adding more chains, crowns or a clear cover bag and plishies.
