Planning on using foam for the mask itself, cutting out eyeholes and getting a pair of small motors and pingpong ball halves to do the eyelids (if I can manage to solder it right, I should have each eyelid working independently with the option to just toggle both, allowing for both winking and blinking). For the LED part, it'll be a single white one on each side for the pupils, then a ring (or triangle, or whatever shape) of blue on the left side for when a bad time is needed. I've chosen not to have it flash yellow, because I don't want to find out the hard way if I have epilepsy.

It wasn't about how he looked, though. He was super in-character (from what I know) and just really spot-on in his character nuances. He pretty much pranced away from me after I asked for a picture and his voice was super goofy and over-the-top jaunty.

The con he was at had enough Undertales to dwarf even a Homestuck presence at the fandom's peak but he was honestly really charming with how in-character he was.

If it's any consolation, this is my first fursuit-like head ever as well. I don't have pictures of anything but my head (just foam and covered in fleece) and my glove things at the moment, but if you're curious I could probably make some shots of other bits later on.

I think the most helpful thing is looking up how fursuiters build their heads and decide on what method you want to use for yours, because there are several to pick from. I made mine pretty tight on my face so my jaw moves the jaw on the mask, no elastics needed. The downside to the method I used is that it's tight on your face, everywhere, so nose and mouth as well; it's a bit annoying to breathe and there's no room for fans.

I want to cosplay undyne in her battle armor, but I don't really know what her hairstyle is supposed to be. Some sprites show her as bald with a red ponytail, and others make it look like a full head of hair...

I haven't seen a good human Alphys yet because I think the key to a good Alphys (human or otherwise) is striving to look awkward.

Too many people try to make Alphys cute or attractive but she's not. Like, she's a weeaboo lizard monster. She's not going to look hot even as a human. She's a fat, sweaty, socially awkward mess and you need to translate that to both how you make the cosplay and how you carry yourself in that cosplay.

Shoes were pretty easy. Just added that bit of foam for toes, glued the toes together more, cut the toelines a bit further into the foam, added a simple slab of foam around the sides then covered it in fleece.

3/5, the base I made for the mask.

You can probably tell how almost nothing of the base made it into the final shape. At this point I was pretty heavily looking for help on lizard fursuit faces and, unfortunately, it's apparently not a very popular animal to make a fursuit of. I have made several different shapes between the base and the one I posted earlier, mostly trial and error.

It does help to have either a very clear idea or a good sketch of what you'd like.

Unless I'm missing someone, all of the overworld characters with white are flatly-shaded, while Mettaton has bits of blue. It might be that his face is meant to be metallic.

Progress anon here posting my ugly mug here one last time.

I used Mehron's clown white as my base, then used Ben Nye dark grey and a small chiseled brush for the detail work/outlines, sealed it with powder, then shaded details with white, light grey, and black eyeshadows. I was going for a more subtle look in comparison to all the heavy black lines most MTTs use, with a little less eye makeup since I have a softer face and wanted to look a little less feminine.

Although I will suggest darkening your eyebrows since the face paint washes them out a bit, and maybe make the eyeliner a little thicker/use darker eyeshadow for your lids since even in his sprites Mettaton has pretty heavy eye makeup.

The second pair look more accurate in colour to the sprite and they're what everyone uses, but the first pair have a nicer looking heel.

I'd say 1 for the suit. Too much shine is gonna look bad, even if he is a robot. Assuming you're painting the shoulders/chest/waist thing and using silver spandex for the arms, then shiny black on the bottom would look way too much.

That was me, actually. There was no way I was going to finish the mask on time, so instead of rushing it and looking like every other mask you can see in there, I decided to go as Mettaton instead.

The bag says "Mettaton", in hand-written comic sans.

I know it's still pretty shit though. A lot of people seemed to really like it, but I am not happy with how it came out at all. The color choice is better than most of the other sans' there, but the silhouette is still wonky and the gloves wound up looking really bad in all the pictures I took.

make the yellow/red screen panels for MTT out of speaker cover fabric. Double up two layers of the fabric, then pull it taut so it's smooth, and it'll look opaque to people seeing it from farther away, and your friend should be able to see out of it just fine. If the speaker fabric doesn't work, then I'm sure using some mesh grates for some of the screen panels will work just fine, too.

Hope your friend's EX shoulders can fit inside the box comfortably..

Toriel's ribbon requires the player to be safely escorted around the con by her (not actually very far)

Napstablook's ribbon requires the player to lie on ground and feel like garbage with them.

Mettaton's ribbon requires the player to write an essay about what they love most about Mettaton in about 6 seconds

Flowey's ribbon requires the player to dodge one of three "friendliness pellets."

Papyrus's ribbon requires the player to complete a puzzle from an activity book.

We've got ideas for what an Undyne and a Muffet can do as well, but we don't have those characters locked in yet.

So I want to make lesser dog, but how would one ago about having a raising/lowering head?

But, tumblr faun lips are neither of those things. I've spent more time than the style deserves looking up different makeup trends trying to pinpoint the black-upper-lip-only trend and where it might have originated from. I looked at glam rock, avant garde (in both photography and runway), grunge, general 80's trends, drag, early bowie, klaus nomi etc... the ONLY thing I found in my personal research was tumblr faun lips.

The next closest thing was a contouring technique that involves putting a highlight of a lighter colour in the center of your lower lip to make it stand out. That's literally fucking it. If you can show me where this trend originates from that ISN'T tumblr faun, and is actually some kind of fashion trend from a look/period that MTT would be inspired by, then PLEASE let me fucking know (I've invested far too much time in this already so some goddamn closure would be great.)

My girlfriend and I recently did some roleplay stuff in varying levels of Cosplay.

She was Chara and I was Sans, and she tied me up and did some teasing/light abuse and rode me while "holding me down."

It was really nice, but towards the end, she got too cocky, and I slipped the restraints off, then choked her (yes, it's her fetish) while I flipped her on her back, got the cuffs on her, and proceeded to dunk on her.

I imagine Mettaton stuff won't be nearly as much pretend-hatesex, but Cosplay sex is still A+++

The eye makeup is neat, but they should've done more emphasis on the bottom lashes.
Cheek panels aren't entirely accurate but I admire the detail on them.
Take out the piercings.
The hair looks more like a bob.
And I feel like they need more contouring overall. The cheeks look too round.

I know Frisk is pretty much basic bitch cosplay, but whats the easiest way to make a nice looking Frisk sweater without knitting it? I tried searching online for one to buy but couldnt find anything with the right colors or stripes.

The only way you can make it part of the sweater is to either paint it on (not recommended) or knit it yourself.
