Pls help. Bunny Milk and Snow Strawberry in has proven particularly elusive despite a gull commenting that they're 'common' last time I posted. When it does come up it's always the wrong size (usually an L, I need an S), cut (I want the ribbon jsk) and/or the wrong colourway. Did a search the night before last *nothing* literally woke up the next morning and one had gone up then went absurdly cheap in the 6 hours I'd been asleep.

Also Moonlight Dance, which I haven't seen come up in forever, appeared and sold really quickly too.

I'm stoked that the rerelease of Holy Lantern includes a high waist jsk because it was always the special set version that I wanted.

My wishlist is finally drawing to a close. After this I don't intend to look at any new releases. Just want to check these final beauties off my list.

I always think of it as I would with a trade. If someone was offering me that item to trade, and the only way I could get it is if I got rid of the particular item in question, would I do it? In my experience, when you get something you enjoy and would wear more, than you don't regret selling the other thing. Think of it as a trade, and decide which item you would feel like you'd come out on top with, and go with it. Makes it a lot easier.

it's a collab between Baby and Kuragehime, a manga (and anime) series. Some anons (or maybe it's just me?) were introduced to baby through this release and so there's a certain sense of sentimental value to it (again, maybe it's just me). Aside from that, it's just a really pretty dress.

Go back and search EGL. It was pretty much disliked when it came out, it only came out as a made-to-order, and it wasn't cheap. So it's very rare because the girls who were lolitas when the dress came out almost universally didn't like it, didn't order it, and therefore the number of dresses in circulation is near zero.

This dress, known as the kuranosuke stripe jsk, was a much better hit, both fans of kuragehime and non fans liked it. It was easier to find up until a few years ago, but now it's become hard to find as well. (There's a couple of other dresses, but these two were the most loved and the most hated from the whole collab).

Well, everyone has their own reasons for liking their dream dress. I just wanted to clarify that this isn't some kind of holy grail rare dress involved in some kind of bloodbath to end all bloodbaths. The plain truth is that it was a made-to-order dress that nobody liked, nobody wanted, so nobody bought it, and that's the real reason it's rare.

I'm not trying to pass judgement on the dress, it's just the comments I replied to were speculating that this was a super popular dress because of a collab or something, when actually the complete reverse is exactly why you never see this dress anywhere. I couldn't get the point across without stressing how unpopular this dress was, keep in mind that even radioactive cupcakes is in circulation, but this dress isn't. I think no one in the West actually shelled out for the dress.

I mean, if you're going to start up an email campaign with Baby, you'd at least want to realise that you're starting off with a handicap, they will have their own data that says nearly no one bought that dress. You'd at least want to show them some explanation on why none of the girls writing in now didn't buy the dress at release if it was such a big deal.

Though that brings up another issue as well. No one in my facebook circle wants this dress, and I've never seen it mentioned outside of cgl. I want anons to get their dream dresses, but I'd be wary of writing in to Baby asking for a dream dress every time some unidentified anons say so on cgl. Too many emails, too many failed re-releases, and they'll start ignoring us the way AP ignored Misty Sky emails. Keep in mind the dresss itself is $700 retail, I'd advise not to write in if you don't have intentions of following through. As a group, the lack of follow-through means they'll think we're all in cahoots with each other and start ignoring all requests from now on (even more than they already are, I mean).

I'm so pissed since I failed during the bloodbath and got outbid in yahoo auctions some months ago. That dress is the only dress I care about, I had shitload of dreams with it and absolutely all my wardrobe is fitted to enhance it. I was thinking of stopping buying lolita but I cannot without that dress, which honestly made me understood what people really meant by dreamdress. I cried so much for not having it, smiled so much as I imagined myself with it. P-please, s-someone. I-I know I should have checked every places where it was in before it sold out instead of one hour after, but I just guess I am unlucky.
