Soak your hair in the shower, rub in a little leave in conditioner, and braid it before swimming. If you get it wet with sower water it will absorb less chlorine water (unless you're there literally all day). Also, ugly but effective, get a swim cap.

It's not ita but not just nitpick, it definitely has something off and is not pleasant to look at.

She definitely needs to change that wrinkly blouse for something pink, one of those cute pale chiffon blouses, it's the only white in her whole coord and it looks unbalanced. Remove the random moon at her waist and do something with her hair besides brushing it, even just braid waves would really help.

And as a bonus, learn now to apply eyeliner.

I think it's possible to make it nicer with a few tweakings. Removing that ribbon from the center, getting a nice wig and nicer headdress (miniature crown in gold/red, flowers...) and adding some nice necklaces.
I like her skirt. The blouse is not my fav but it would work imo.

Its because the pink on the socks doesn't compliment the blue of the dress so instead the eyes melding the image in a flowing manner its stark and leaving the outfit with an empty space feeling. Pink and navy look well together but usually with another color to even them or with an equal balance of both. We have some white in the blouse, but instead of adding to the outfit the contrast with the straight dark blue strap leads our eyes vertically where we perceive a feeling of empty space

I think if the bow on the blouse was pink and there was something pink around the wrists, or something pink around the waist to fill the space

That being said this outfit is cute and only searching-for-it-nitpick level, and also I'm fucking stoned out of my mind so sorry for OT if this sounds dumber than I think
