Let's see some examples of glasses in lolita, other jfash, or cosplay, for those of us who would rather get some cute frames than stick death plastic into our eyes

All I have is round glasses, just like you've posted too, we're so boring.
>>8762532
I'm lacking in cosplay pics btw, so please feel free to contribute.
Also let's talk about our favorite frames, places to shop for cute frames, what jfashions look best with glasses, or anything else!
Why is it that when it comes to these threads, the glasses are either circular or the ones with thick square frames?
>>8762534
I'm kind of bummed, I had some semi-round wire rimmed glasses and I broke them, and I was with my mom when I went to get new ones and she made me feel so self conscious about getting another wire-rimmed pair "oh, my friend has those same glasses! (friend is 60+)" so I ended up with thick frames.
They suit my face but thin round glasses are so cute and I feel like they suit my personality better...

Here's some Larme-endorsed glasses for those of you who are interested! + they're a little different from the typical ones seen in this thread

>circle lenses AND glasses
??????

Glasses just for the sake of glasses, not to help see, are apparently pretty popular accessories

(credit to the gull who posted this awhile ago, I've been thinking about it a lot!)
Is there any place in the US that sells these half rim frames? I seen plenty with the upper rims intact but none that are just side and lower frame.
Hikapu is a very cute glasses-wearer! She's a Swankiss shopgirl, and her instagram is hikapudayo.
can anyone post some that arent ugly ass harry potter geek squad attire lmao

I got these exact glasses but my prescription was so strong it made my head look like it was shaped like a peanut
>kill me
>>8762617
I hate them, so ageing and frumpy
>>8762652
Can I ask where you found yours? I need a pair that can hold prescription lenses, not just "fashion" frames.
>>8762588
There has to be, because my friend works at a glasses store and he made me a red pair for cosplay. I don't think he went to a lot of trouble.

Not who you're replying to, but I got mine from this eBay seller:
http://www.ebay.ca/sch/guwenjie1348/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
Basically, I had to pay for the glasses and prescription lenses separately, and they mailed them put together. Basically, I just messaged them about it, and they sent me a link to which lenses to buy.
>>8763211
Anon, sorry to bother you, but could you explain the process more?
>>8763226
Okay so my memory of this isn't fantastic, because it was like a year ago, but basically, I found a listing from them and asked how to get it in my prescription, and I told them my prescription and the glasses I wanted, and they gave me a link to what lenses to buy to go with it, and I put them both in my shopping cart and bought them together (After having asked like 5 other questions to confirm I was buying what I thought I was). All in all it came to like $30. They arrived with a little bag to carry them in, as well as some other accessories. They aren't as sturdy as the frames I got from my optometrist, and I certainly don't wear them everyday, but they're good for the price.

The fact that wire rims are so widely supported around here makes me wanna barf desu
>>8763257
That is so helpful anon...not the person you were replying to but I need an extra pair of glasses and this is so much cheaper and will probably end up cuter than getting them done at a brick&mortar place.

I have a lovehate relationship with them. I get that they're old lady/nerd -esque and sometimes i feel self-conscience wearing them for that reason, but at the same time they have this mature/quirky feel to them that I just love. Plus I really hate a lot of other glasses styles these days, no offense but I think glasses like
>>8762588
look so much worse than wire rimmed...angular frames and half rims drive me insane lol
>>8764614
This is cute
>>8764614
ok i guess if you're going for an kitsch twee nerd look go ahead but can we post some glasses that actually look good also
>>8762522
Good places to buy J-fashion prescription glasses?
>>8762574
>people used to think it was dumb when I said I'd prefer wearing contacts with fake glasses
>real glasses always make my face look distorted in pictures because the lenses are so thick
Japan gets it.

Try http://www.zennioptical.com/
I was sick of the rectangle frames and wanted to try rx round ones, so I ordered here.
3 pairs cost about $73 after shipping.
I've worn glasses almost my entire life, and I love they way my usual wire frames look on me when I'm in normalfag clothes. I'd always been under the impression that I needed to wear contacts (which I hate) to pull off my favorite jfash coords, but this thread has been inspiring to me. Thank you!

>stick death plastic into our eyes
what are you 12?
>feels when -10 eyesight and still getting worse
>feels when got bullied for tiny eyes because of glasses.
>feels when circle lenses just reach my prescription.
>feels when contacts destroyed my eyelids and can only wear them for 4 hours.
I fucking abhor glasses. I don't understand why anyone would wear them for fashion.
Here are most of my glasses. I got the first ones and last two at Zenni with their cyber monday buy two get one sale last year. Their anti-reflective coating is absolutely noticeable and lets your eyes get seen better in pics. I only ponied up the money to get that coating on the round frames and some hipster wayfarers I got for a cosplay. The hipster glasses are nice for lazy wear but I don't know if it's because I fall asleep in glasses but mine have 2 fractures in the plastic frames now that are about to crack all the way through. Just those frames though.
The two pics with the same frames were from some place in the mall and they were way too expensive but they were the only ones I liked.
I got a pair of cosplay plano red under rims frames on ebay and I'm contemplating sacrificing the broken hipster glasses to put real lenses in them but I wouldn't know how to keep the lenses' pupillary distance even. I don't know why red under rim glasses got so popular while it's such a pain to find them irl.

Direct link to the round ones? I've been looking for a pair of round glasses that are perfectly round, but aren't tiny.
>>8765639
No I just have sensitive eyes. I wore contacts for years and had one bad experience where I couldn't open my eyes for almost a week and since then Im so much happier not dealing with the dryness and discomfort contacts give me. Plus I love not having to worry about getting another box.
>>8765639
>someone who hasn't had problems with contacts
that is literally what it feels like unless it's like day 1 of opening a fresh pair
>>8766003
Not that anon, but I think these are the glasses
