Wow, anon. Your card is uncannily similar to the cards I made. I did mine digitally in Illustrator, but I swear the elements in the illustration are nearly exactly the same, right down to the snow and the placement of the seagull and tree. (I'm not sure if I should post pics of mine yet since I only shipped everything out a few days ago.)

this! participating in this SS has been my best 4chan experience. thank you so much for organizing. i hope you may be able to help organize another, since your experience will be invaluable.

the only issue this hear was the mixup of 2 anons' interests and addresses, which is significant but something to learn from. overall this has been pleasant, and a better way of finding penpals than even past "friend finder" threads!

I took some better quality photos of the tights because the original was pretty low res. I also received the book mark in the mail the other day! (I'm assuming they're from the same person?) I remember seeing the bookmark someone else got in the old thread and thinking, 'wow, that's one classy bookmark'. I was very pleasantly surprised when I received one of my own. I just want to say how happy I am this happened. I've not been on /cgl/ very long but I am more excited for my secret santa gifts/cards (some have arrived) than I am for anything else this Christmas. I was really lucky because I only signed up for one card exchange and one gift exchange, in a small price bracket, and I think Santa-anon combined them so I'll be getting my card and gifts from the same anon, who's already let me know they're late arriving, which is completely fine. Otherwise there's a seagull out there who hasn't bothered to post a card on it's own which is a bit sad. I think if this goes ahead again (hopefully it will, I would like to help organise) it be compulsory to send Santa-anon proof of postage or like a photo of the card envelope so if you're going to be grinched Santa-anon can easily figure out who it is and could possibly warn you. Same here! I only signed up for one Santa but I've seen a few other people mention stuff about her. I have been posting constant updates and I mailed out the present which it says was delivered but yet I still haven't heard a thing from her. It would even just be nice to know if she got it. I posted what I got the night I received it.

Funnily enough I've had more luck with this Secret Santa than with my local comm. It's a big comm, but the deadline for posting gifts was the 12th. It was organised through Elfster so they notify you when they've posted your gift and I've had nothing yet. Considering Christmas is in 5 days I really doubt I'll be getting a gift from them on time

I think some people have already mentioned that they would be able to send out a couple extra packages to grinched seagulls. I know I have some knick-knacks I can mail out if need-be. If the Santa-anons are willing, maybe a 2nd wave of gifts can be organized in January.

On another note, who else is waiting until Christmas to open their gift(s)? I've been eyeballing my packages every day since receiving them; I had to put them out of sight to help fight off the temptation.

Okay so the thing it's self is a fold-able cardboard piece, and on the bottom my santa has wired a speaker up to a button, so when you press option D (that Alphys is making with her arms heheh) then the speaker runs through a series of sounds! So one of them is Mettaton's theme, another is the sound of his speech etc. etc. it's so so so cool! It took me a while to figure out because I'm dumb, but I'm so glad I did!
