I got a bunch on Taobao a long time ago. They're great aside from a few colors not totally matching the photos. Pinks never match, but things like brown and red have been fine.

Finally, a thread where I can ask my question. The problem is that i want to wear berets as girl on the first picture (perfect round edges), but it turns out mildly bad (girl in the middle) or absolutely awful like woman on last picture with wrinkled beret hugging her face. How do I even put this thing on my head so it looks like the first picture, is my head too big or my hands crooked?

When I wear mine they always turn out like the first? However it is probably because it's made out of a stiffer/thicker material and has a bit of a brim so to speak. It also really helps to pin them on the sides.

Ah I see, have you tried Lolita-tips masterpost of hairstyles? Pretty much anything long/side braided/side ponytail ect looks nice with hats/berets so it evens out your head proportion.

To get the shape of the first girl's beret, either get a beret with stiffish edges (I have a JM beret that naturally sits that way) or pin it at the top and let it sort of just sit there instead of pulling it over your head.

How do you fix warping on berets? I can't stand how my beret (pic related) dips in the middle but I can't figure out how to iron it or anything. Sorry if the picture sucks. Mobile sucks.

A little bit off topic but I figured I'd try anyway. Do you think berets are making a come back in regular western fashion? Went to the mall the other day and found that a few normal stores had some of them. Perhaps it's just because of the season, but still I'd never seen them in the past years.

It's the season, they're normally always out at this time. Though I do think there had been a slight rise in popularity but not by much.

I think the beret's headhole(?lol) and circumference just needs to big enough to suit your head size. And the proportion of the hole needs to be no more than ~3-4 inch smaller than the total size of the beret.
