Alright gulls, you've got $2,000 to blow. Put together a coord.
>>8732081
$2000 in which currency?
>>8732083
I'm not OP but considering there's a "$" sign, I'd assume US dollars
>>8732120
The $ is used for more than USD.

The original coord I came up with was under $500, this is very difficult. My total wardrobe cost under $1000, so the idea of making a coord spending more than that is insane.
>>8732125
This.
>>8732125
Well considering they didn't use £, €, ¥ or something else commonly used, would you not also automatically think us dollar? Besides, I'm sure you can put together a coord in whatever currency you want without anyone really caring
>>8732125
Go hard mode and do pesos.
>>8732130
Only Americans would automatically think USD. My country uses the $ sign as well, which is why I was asking.
>$2000 cat's tea party in pink
everything else: OFFBRAND!

Just do what ever the equivalent is. Shit, don't we all constantly have to do conversions for numbers when shopping?
Surely I'm not the only one here who constantly converts stuff from Yen....

I think that comment was a dig at Americans automatically thinking they're the centre of the world.
I'm from yet another country that also uses $ instead of a bunch of letters to designate our currency. There's more currencies in the world than just £, €, or ¥, a lot of countries use $.
Gotta admit my first thought when I saw OP's post was "what currency", and then my second was "bloody Americans". It's not that I hate Americans, but sometimes seeing a post like feels like I'm talking to someone living under a rock, doesn't know other countries exist, and doesn't care. You could try to carry on a conversation with them, but it's so much hardwork when they assume every country is America and you really have to work to explain that it's not.
So yeah, I'm overexplaining and this is cgl, but I think that's why there are people asking what currency and being annoyed. They can guess it's American, they just want to point out the stupidity of not specifying the currency when the board is pretty international -- we've had threads about other countries and we've had commenters apologising for English not being their first language.
