NO MORE DEAD CONS!
Arizona has finally struck back and ended a Monkey Paw con. I honestly don't think I saw more than 100 people.
wait what happened with Kikori?
I'm interested too, deets OP?
Wait, are you saying people in AZ actually just skipped out on a con instead of just complaining about how much the cons in AZ suck?

Kikori this year actually grew, and the hotel is accommodating by growing as well. It won't go away any time soon.
Honestly who is going up to Flagstaff for a con? Anything outside the Phoenix valley area is dead.

How the fuck is 0 people growing?
Greg's furry con last month is what killed CMX.

I went to both cons at the tail end of their days. CMX was in a regular, boring convention while the furry con was at a super nice, ritzy place where there were so many photo shoot opportunities because of how beautiful the resort was.
Why the fuck can't our anime cons be at nice places like that.
Wasn't expecting a Kikori thread on mah cgl.
It apparently grew, but it seemed like about the same as last year. I wouldn't know though. I was playing in the forest taking pretty pictures all weekend. I fucking love that location though so I hope Kikori stays around.
Greg promised (again) that it'll be a different weekend as Tucson Comicon next year so there probably will be quite a few more people.
I hardly saw pics other than the woods. Did anyone go to panels/cafes/events?

CMX is what killed CMX
So I heard an avatar group won the masquerade? Also if its who I think it is why do monkey paw staff keep winning the masquerades at their own events? shits sketchy yo.
People can argue all they want that its not sketchy but at the end of the day it looks fishy to everyone.

It was one person and I'm pretty sure she's staff. But I'm also willing to bet she one because she was literally the only person who did a skit? Her craftsmanship is kinda mediocre as far as I can tell.
