Don't get me wrong that Genos has pretty good arms but "naked"Genos is only a matter of time once this series explodes. Luckily I don't think it will ever reach AoT levels of hype in the US and frankly I'm glad stuff like Steven Universe will continue to draw away the crazies for a couple more years.

OPM is popular but most of the costumes are either too difficult or too boring to attract most cosplayers. I could see the prop autists trying to one up each other with Genos cosplay, but that's a pretty small group to begin with. Saitama is both kind of difficult (requires baldcap or shaved head, silly jumpsuit) and kind of boring for what most cosplayers go for.

I could see Sonic being a popular choice because he's a slutty attentionwhore with an easier costume, but, yeah, I think OPM will mostly be spared cancer-tier cosplay popularity.

Saitama's hurdle would be just the bald cap (or commitment to shaving), I think, since the jumpsuit is pretty simple if you're a seamstress and cheap to buy from Chinese sources otherwise. Way simpler than the ubiquitous Kirito coat of 2012/2013 at least.
I can see the lazier Genos "cosplayers" just throwing on a wig and doing a poor makeup job. The black sclera lenses would be tough for a lot of people to pull off, on top of the cyborg arms and other parts.

Too bad both are really simple outfits. That would make for plenty of people going for them because it looks simple or cheap to eBay. How many accurate cosplays of them will an average con see next year? I can see some people electing to move the dress slit openings down to lessen exposure.

I thought about doing the older sister but being a cheap ass with it. Like buying the outfit from Taobao or something but making sure it looks close to the show. Everything else I'll have on point but that because this is a pre con comfy cosplay. I have no problems showing off my legs and not having slip ups.

You should make sure the fit is good since it's skintight and poor fit would lead to slack or wrinkles/straining at awkward spots, most likely the waist or the bust seams. There are so few details on the character that anything out of place would stand out.

Depends on the person. It's pretty much borderline impossible for me to cosplay accurately feature facial wise because my face is round. Most anime character's faces are heart shape, square, and depending on the series oval or long.
