Japanese lingerie are so meh. I mean, when I was in Japan I went nuts over the pretty sets and bought, like, 7. they're prettey, sure, and the lace is amazing and it looks cute, but it's always some kind of a plasic-y fabric and the shape is usually meh. Depends on your boobs. I get fantastic shape from my Japanese bras, but brands at the 1000-3000 yen end of the market basically only do 3 styles of semi molded cup without much variation so if your boobs aren't like the target market they aren't gonna work for you. My main issue that my ribcage is between sizes and I prefer the smaller band but the cups are usually too close when I sister size down

For this i never buy lingerie sets, not just for the top-bottom size difference i have (mfw AA cup but M-L sized butt) also for the fact the panties are made of itchy polyester, western brands included. Anyway, I bought a lot of Japanese lingerie sets for my (32DD) ex, from a local store in LA that specializes in selling stuff like that. The shape of the bras was amazing, they fit her much better than anything she could find from US brands, and there was plenty of selection with nicer materials.

I agree about the bottoms though, a little too "conservative" to be attractive to a guy like me, but my ex was the type who only liked to wear cheap, plain cotton stuff anyway (much to my chagrin), so she pretty much only wore the Japanese bras.

You'd be lucky to find something wearable, possibly you can if you don't mind sister sizing to a loose band and don't mind the lack of proper big boob engineering. I get all my underwear from uniqlo now, it's great quality and plenty of cute designs. super, super soft too. they also have the seamless underwear which i'll wear for tighter cosplays so panty lines dont show.

how is the width of wiring in japanese bras? I've often trouble finding bras that don't poke me in the ribs with the wiring because of my boobs sitting more on the side.

I love Japanese bras and they fit my boobs really great aside from the fact that the cups are so damn close together! I don't have "soft" boobs and trying to push them together just looks silly and is kind of painful.

Measure yourself and then round your cup size up if you're between sizes. Japanese bras say the first number is supposed to be underbust in cm, but I find going down a band size and up at least one cup size is helpful. My measurements are 70cm underbust and 81cm bust, which on the Nissen sizing chart puts me between a 70A and 70B, but I quadboob terribly in a 70A and fit the cup on a 70B well when I take the padding out. I prefer a tighter band so order 65C which is the sister size, but I have to be careful with the cup spacing since on Japanese bras it's really close together.

As for which bras, I guess ideally striped but if not, the same colours would be good.

Anyone got cute, reasonably priced ankle/floor length robes/dressing gowns? As much as I love my kigu for house wear, it's not easy to go to the bathroom in or throw on in a hurry to open the door for signature required parcels.
