oh man, I do have a horror story.
My cosplay got a lot of attention from the SPN fandom, many people asked for photos and hugs, which I was fine with because they asked. Then while someone was signing the contract, a Cas cosplayer comes up and asks me who I was. I told them I was Crowley and they immediately latch onto me, it sent me into a shellshock sort of state. She kept on kissing my cheeks and calling me "my King." She also kept trying to hold my arm and hand. She asked for a photo and at the last moment she lifts a leg and wraps it around me, which completely shocked me once again. Afterwards I go back to my friends who were nearby and she followed me. She sat next to me and started to try and take selfies with me. Fortunately, I believe her friends were calling her, so she left. I immediately left the con after this.

I've always wondered about this, because I've been to ACen a couple times, and going to the hotel cafe or whatever for a coffee you always see disgruntled airline pilots and businessmen who were just staying there for work or whatever, and maybe knew there was a convention going on, but didn't expect an influx of poorly behaved children partying all night. I mean sure hotels tend to put all the rooms for convention kiddies in the same area of the hotel, but still the noise probably carries everywhere, and there are common areas of the hotel for everyone.

I've been a regular on tumblr for the past few years and I have never been so embarrassed to be a part of a website in my entire life. With that being said, I've also never laughed so hard at a clusterfuck like this one.
I'm glad I don't have anything to do with the huge fandom parts of Tumblr, although a part of me doesn't want Dashcon to end just because I want more horror stories.
