To celebrate Dark Souls 3, Fromsoft thread!
I'm in.
I have a fascination for Black Knights but never seen a cosplay. That armor is fucking awesome.

discuss them
>do you have any as your dream dresses?
>have you ever seen so-called legendary/'unicorn' dresses show up in the wild?
>do you own any considered extremely rare or extremely expensive (or both)?
>if so, share details about obtaining them or how you used/wore them, any interesting stories? (bonus for detail photos)
>what would you trade for them (to own or to let them go), if any? or what price would you sell them at, if at all?
>discuss hypothetical rereleases
>anything else that fits the topic
>pic very related
Puppet Circus usually goes for $1000+
((I'm gonna post some expensive dresses to get this thread going because it seems interesting))
That $3000 Juliette et Justine wedding dress was pretty wild

>$3000
holy fuck what
This went really well, but the old thread is in auto-sage.
Post/discuss cosplays you rarely (or never) see at cons, whether it be that the series isn't well known, too old to be remembered, or both.

Fuckyeah, Grandia 2 was awesome.
Anyways, one of my favorite series: Berserk. I've seen some, but not much I know there is a good Caska on tumblr.
Gratuitous selfpost but good golly do I love IIDX and it's pretty rarely cosplayed! I've never seen one in the flesh.

They are at it again you guys and the best part is that it is a GoFundMe, so they get to keep any and all money that gets given to them vs a Kickstarter where you can'thave the money unless you accomplish your goal! Hooray! More scamming a-hoy!

And they are small as fuuuck. Basically the size of a BB5 box. Who the hell would donate for a box the same size as a free Flat Rate box from the post office?
Cosbox isnt really that great, I got the first one, and saw the ones after it. Nothing really worthwhile.
What's your "elevator speech" for when someone asks what you're wearing?
Do you tap dance around calling it lolita or just get it over with?
Lesbian?

Heh
>>8950481
I call it a Japanese street fashion. If they're curious still, I'll explain a bit more, but I never say lolita. I remember one lady explained to another lady "It's anime." Despite me saying it wasn't, but that was her "ohhh" moment.
/k/ here. Just wondering what you seagulls think of guys walking around gun shows dressed up (separate from re-enacting)
pic related: French WWI soldier

I'm fine with it. But I guess many weebs throw a temper tantrum about it
>>8947693
Awhile back the gunshow where I live had an entire room devoted to stuff like this, guys had dressed up as different sides of WW2, Russians, Germans, Americans, one guy had an Italian kit. I thought it was pretty cool.
>>8947693
One of the vendors at... Lexcon I think it was... had an entire booth dedicated to WW 1/2 replica items. A friend picked up a French beret.
Honestly in general you won't stick out too much, just don't be that germanophile or history weeb who can't into socializing.
Last one died so thought I'd start a new one.
Who are some of your favourite/least favourite icons in Fairy Kei fashion?
What trends do you love/hate?
Are there any upcoming brand releases you're excited for?
Go crazy y'all
who tf is the op picture and wtf are they wearing

She's the token ugly fat girl with ita outfits so she's essentially the communal punching bag for anyone who needs to feel instantly better about themselves without trying.
Post your favourite coords (please don't selfpost). Style doesn't matter, I want to see the coords that make gulls hearts flutter

I love a lot of this girl's coords, but I feel like they're becoming very samey now. They're still nice, but none of her coords are really memorable.
Post the best Vocaloid cosplay

>How to order from Vograce
https://docs.google.com/document/d/18UxKnpgrmeb82NnW5e4YIEX-eZ3zHt178Mp6i0A5gME/edit?usp=sharing
I've praised vograce in the past, but I'm on my third order with them now and communication seems to be getting increasingly worse.
I've just waited for them to send me back the outlines of my charms for a week. When I sent them an e-mail to ask about it, it turned out they were waiting for me to send over the files, which I'd already done.
Whenever I send them multiple questions at once, they only answer one or two at the time. (I hate it when people do this so much.)
Their English has been bad enough at points that I just couldn't understand what they were saying. And I'm used to Chinglish.
I get the feeling that coco might be multiple people who aren't communicating well with each other. I get multiple e-mails that contradict each other, for example the first e-mail says they can't open my files, but the second e-mail a few hours later contains all my outlined files, asking me for approval.
The ordering process is getting more frustrating each time and it's taking far longer than it should. Have they just become too busy?
Is anyone else noticing this?
>>8955102
linking my old question!
>>8956923
I did notice their email responses have been a bit slower lately but it's literally con season, anon. I don't know what you were expecting. I try to check in every few days so if you literally waited a week before you checked in, that's kind of on you.
You can try Vicky or one of the other reps if you're having trouble with Coco. I know Vicky has better English than Coco at the very least. But it's kind of ridiculous that you're complaining about English while dealing with a Chinese company. Either learn Chinese or suck it up and ask for multiple clarifications like the rest of us. Whining about English just makes you sound like an entitled shitlord.
It's been a while since we last had one of these threads
Last thread >>8923990
>All J-fash styles (lolita, mori, otome, gyaru, deco, etc.) are welcome!
>Cosplay is discouraged, because then it's basically fanart of your character.
>Please provide your best photos.
>Artists: it's not a bad idea to just sign your work
>Selfposters: When giving credit, it's a good idea to refer to the art as a freebie or commission, NOT fanart.
>Helpful critique is acceptable, insults and taunts are not.
>You should actually be wearing your coord, not "Draw me in X!"
>Have fun!
From the last thread
I'd love a drawing!
Fanime is only 2 months away. How was the quality of the recent past Fanimes and do you think you'll be going this year?
>>8922700
Fanime needs to die.
>>8922717
Why do you say that my fellow nihongo
Why hasn't the website been updated, do I need to check their facebook? Fucking christ...
>>8922717
Listen son, downtown San Jose doesn't have much going on these days, we kinda need the convention around. Plus all bar shootings/stabbings have been boring as of late.
New Thread! Discuss where to buy, where not to buy, recent purchases, reviews and sales!
I've been having some issues recently with honeycolor. They messed up my bogo order recently and it took forever on top of that to reach me. Is it just me or anyone else having problems?
Alice and Rabbit Shop
A cosplayer I'm following got theirs from them. Have you guys heard of it?
I like Uniqso for their sales and coupon codes, but it seems to take months for them to replenish their stock, if they ever do. Are they phasing out certain brands or what?
>>8956254
I just checked them out, shop looks tiny and they seem to only have the standard, plano 'cosplay' ones sold cheaply in Japan.
