Pic related is Neo vision dali extra grey
Wonderful contacts but one came with a defect. (Got refunded from the store, but I didn't notice the defect until I opened them)
I wanted to buy from honeycolor for their 1+1 promotion has one gotten their defects (if they've received them) refunded after opening them since most places refuse to refund if they are opened? I've searched up honeycolor but anything with defects comes back when they accepted paypal and now they don't i'm worried if I get a defect my money would be lost.

Starting to do a cosplay of Cloud and starting with the hair. Wondering if this wig in particular is good enough. Just asking since 194 was sold so maybe someone on here bought it. It says it's not styled but could it actually become as good as pic related? I'm sure the pic is used without permission and the cosplayer isn't using a wig from the seller but just in case I'm curious. If not does anyone know how to get started on making Clouds hair in general and how to avoid making it not look like crap like some are when looking on google images?

Is this from taobao? I bought a wig to do virus from dmmd off taobao and i have to say it turned out pretty good considering i had 0 wig styling experience before. Its probably fine to start with, since at least with the wig i bought it was wefted in such a way it stood up quite a bit on its own without product.

Why does everyone blame tumblr for everything bad in the world of lolita and cosplay? Both communities were filled to the brim with extremist SJWs, tryhard edgy kids, and trends that necessitate bleach to the eyes before tumblr even existed. There are a lot of newbies on here lately. They're always dropping in to jump on a meme bandwagon, but more so now that they have even more free time.
Lots of people either don't remember the sjw on LJ or they didn't actually experience LJ. I know I did and I know that all those neoliberal types just transferred to tumblr after LJ lost its charm and activity. Everyone is bitching about the same group of people that grew because they managed to influence a new generation.
I also went from LJ to tumblr but my past is pretty embarrassing there as I was a dumb edgelord back in my early 20s. I would consistently troll stupidfree posts and I've been posting on 4chan since 2008 and I'm still here but now I'm less of edge yard because I'm gonna be 30 next year and I've grown really tired of stupid memes and hating people just for the sake of hating someone or something. Which seems to be a common thing on most boards here. I used to frequent /tv/ until they just started hating every single show and movie that came out and I had to hide all the fucking feet threads much like I have to hide and report posts here because of all the repetitive trolling and unoriginality. Sometimes I won't even bother using this platform because it's just not worthwhile. Right now it seems okay.
I can't agree that everything tumblr does is bad either which is why I'm so sick of the "hurr goback2tumblrs" memes and the tumblr kei shit. Like okay, that does exist but it does not encompasses the site. Me and other people had to drill into a lot of people's heads on /ic/ bc the tumblr=shit meme is pretty much all of 4chan. Like man, you can filter out shit you don't want to see on tumblr and if someone becomes a part of the sjw cult you are so worried about, fucking unfollow them.
People really do treat it like a boogeyman cult but no one is forcing you to give it attention. You choose to do that.

Maybe this was totally obvious to everyone else but I've been hauling out my regular sized vacuum to clean up during sanding/mess making and even running it at 1am in my apartment. I was at Wally World the other day and grabbed this tiny, rechargeable hand vac for $15. It's changed my life. Now I can leave my heavy vacuum in the closet and I don't have to worry about ruining it with foam dust and hot glue clumps. Even better I can clean up all day instead of letting the dirt pile up.
Does anyone else have some cosplay "life hacks", or tools that have made your life significantly easier?

I got a seam ripper like this on clearance, the rubber end picks up all the little thread remnants out of the fabric in a few seconds. A regular eraser might work just as well.

desu im salty about the VIP raffle especially because i was under the impression non EU members had their own pool of tickets, including VIP tickets. I think i was incorrect so im pretty bummed.
Other than that i think itll be a good event. Im only a bit relieved because i realized i dont have all pieces to my baby coord and i would be embarrassed to be closer to the baby designers not wearing baby.
On that note, does VIP get to interact with them or is it just a chance to possibly interact with them?
Im attending alone on saturday, so i hope i can still enjoy myself. Im curious if seating is premade or if everyone just awkwardly finds tables to sit at.
Ill also be attending AnimagiC because i got tickets for my birthday but i heard its not that great for lolitas and its not worth buying tickets to get inside? Any more opinions from lolitas?

I *think* as a VIP you get to somewhat interact with them, like having a toast and maybe take some pictures during early entry. But to be honest every event I attended with celebrity guests, usually you don't get to interact that much. There are too many people, and often they don't have a translator on hand so if you don't speak Japanese, there's no real way to talk to the guests.
But I'm just interested in taking some pictures, and watching the Q&A later.
Also I don't think they'll have a seating, I think it's first come, first served and you will have to find your own seat.
