Also thanksfor posting the this picture of a Dutch Sailor Moon. Feel free to keep them coming as you find more!
Inspo for all-white lolita and ouji and aristo coords.

Two different fashion styles, both considered J fashion catagorically... Is this a sign?!
Also a tumblr post that seems to talk about it pretty well; http://mahouprince.tumblr.com/post/147358267651/whats-going-on-with-our-fashion
They're just so different from each other it seems weird for both to have some kind of business / money problem at the same time. That's why it made me think there could be something on an industry level?
I agree with the other anon. I don't think it's dying exactly but like most alternative fashions it's just changing. Look at current street snaps from TF and compare them to older ones. Overall trends fade in and out and general styles change, the way people buy their clothes has changed too. Wouldn't be surprised if there's more of this, though I agree it is a bit unsettling to watch, and I wonder how other brands will contend with the way the market and trends are changing. (specifically wondering about what moitie to be honest)
New Overwatch thread because the old one is dying
I've completed printing for my Junkrat leg, and upon wearing it and trying to move, walking with it is very hard, but standing is alright. So I think I'll just use it for pictures
But I'm very happy with how it turned out
I was just scrolling around on facebook this morning and I a horror caught my eye:
I saw this girl cosplaying Sailor Chibi Moon and while her cosplay, I think, was just fine...it was the wig.
It wasn't ultra shiny plastic, it wasn't yarn...it was a plush hat. I couldn't believe my eyes.
Thus, I have been inspired to create this thread, bad cosplay wigs. Pic unrelated, kinda
Post good feels and what not in this. Basically the opposite of cringe cosplay and Cosplay related things
>tfw your local con has a rule where you have to follow basic hygiene or else you'll be kicked out
When you have to choose between a dream dress or a con but your boyfriend offers to buy you the dress
Haven't seen one in a while. You know the drill
Love Live, [email protected] & Cinderella Girls, Aikatsu, Pripara, Enstars, other series, Vocaloid and real life idols welcome too! Ask questions, get feedback, talk about idols and cosplaying idols
I want to cosplay Ritsu from Ensemble Stars but I have the probably the least masculine face in existence. Does anyone else here feel my pain? haha
I feel you.
Anyone cosplaying at AX? Post pics
Post some pictures of stuff you're working on, discuss sewing n shit.
I've been looking at fabric used by brand and I keep seeing "burberry cotton" for some BABY dresses but google only gives me that burberry plaid fabric. Is this a mistranslated or does it go by another name or something?
OMG have any of you hear of this? I mean Unplugged Expo is running this shit, i'm just laughing, i can't really? really this is a thing!
I let my friend stay at my place for Anime expo since he moved up north for school. He wants to return the favor and invites me for Sacanime. I have no clue on what it's like there. What should I expect?
Lots of families. Lots of repetitive cosplays (stevens universe, five nights at Freddy's, homestuck, whatever else is popular right now, kids and teens in the peak of their weeaboo phase, annoying security, hot ass swamp ass heat, lots of good food places and cool sites to see nearby, decent artist alley and dealer hall, an "electronic dance" over run by memes, some good guests. Confused locals.
It's an much simpler con. Lots of kids, but also lots of people who have been going for years. Panels are always random, great list of guests this time though. Gatherings can be either huge or 5 people. Masquerade is also very hit or miss, though I've talked with the person in charge and he said they're trying to focus more on cosplayers this time, so yay on that.
Also we're still stuck sharing it with the Greek Festival. So there will be part of the area blocked off for normal people going to that, but if you go into that there's good greek food.
Currently there is no post about where the masquerade and dance will be held, last year it was down the street at the concert hall thing (name escapes me atm) Which has tons of seating, but shitty lighting for masquerades and a 4 block walk back to the hotel.
Hotel has a awesome bar btw.
I'm running the Friday Undertale meet, then doing Linkle Saturday and something easy for Sunday that's undecided atm
I'm going to C90 in 2 weeks.
It'll be my first comiket experience. Going there with 2 other friends who are otaku nerds just like me.
We've been to Japan a few times already, and we don't plan to queue up for hours just to grab exclusive comiket items. Would it be a good idea to just show up at the venue at say, 10am and just walks around to browse randomly?
We have H-artists we like, but the whole venue is so huge, I can't even begin to imagine how to plan our visit to comiket.
OP, I don't know if you've ever watched Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata, but its depiction was more or less accurate. You need to gather intelligence and draw up a battle plan if you are to have even a hope of acquiring most of what you want.
Now, if you don't really care and can wait for shit to pop up later for resale, I suggest either paying the premium on some sort of deputy service, online retailers which offer preorders (e.g. OtakuRepublic), or trying to land an order at one of the doujin shops in Akiba.
Final round entries are up.

Old thread is autosage
Can't believe I made the old thread and this one.
Go to town guys.
So what's up with Anime California, is it any good? I've heard that it's decent from some in passing, but other people are saying that it's the same shady shit that AM2 was, resurrected under a different name.
