A lion and a tiger are fighting to the death to see who's cuter.
Who has your support?
Tiger is obviously cuter.

That's where you're wrong. Have you seen a lion cub? It will make your heart melt.

The British empire really tried to symbolically ingrain their grip on the indian colony. Even made a bunch of bogus and obviously edited movies so they could deliver the message. Nowdays people are still fighting over whichever creature is "stronger" or "better" on some of these movie clips comment space.
If you think you ever seen more futile vitriol from one fanbase to another, you probably haven't seen lionfags and tigerfags going at it. Yes, they fucking exist. Possibly ever since the times the romans were pitting them back and forth in their coliseums.

Lion vs Tiger was the original Goku vs Superman
Speaking of which, why are the most popular who would win debates always so one sided?
Tigers outclass lions historically and biologically (heavier weight, faster speed, longer claws), Godzilla obliterates Gamera, Digimon beats Pokemon 98 percent of the time, Voltron decimates the Megazord, and so on.

>Digimon obliterates pokemon
I love both but as a franchise pokemon is much more successful.
As far as lions and tiger, individually it's a pretty close contest and worthy of the hype and attention it brings. Unfortunately one has historically represented the west while the other represented the east, so productions in the mid 18 and 19 centuries had agendas when depicting such conflicts.
Biologically speaking, as much as both are very similar in closer inspection, there are small differences that may appear once we scope the lens deeper. Untimately, lions will tend to dominate on plains and open spaces where numbers and a more adapted social complex should outcompete the tiger; and the tiger should have no troubles on the environments where it excels, typically in forests with abundant vegetation or semi-open spaces.

Yeah, carefully catalogued even. Have looked into it for years, it's too bad the lowest common denominators shit flings against each other. That response by the the animal rescue is the best, people should spend energy on the conservation efforts.
For what's worth, on a fair contest between two fully grown individuals, I'd also slightly favor the tiger, but would always give the lion, most appropriately, a fighting chance. It would always depend on the individual, as ome can b more formidable than others.
