One of the big things about dubs is they can't do the original script word for word not because they're lazy. But because they have the sync the voices and lip movement. THE cardinal sin of voice acting is lip flapping (When you see the mouth moving but no voice). It really restricts what a voice actor can do.

Although this is a shit dub because there are so many miscasts. I don't blame the actors, I blame the director, and Sentai has a REALLY shitty director pool.

Okay, so I'm not watching the dub because I know that shit is vile, but I have a need to know:

Just got back from Comiket. Got myself a bucket Suu shirt and the art books. They don't have that much new art in them since it's all anime production notes but there some nice details for Rach an Miia I think. I'd post more pictures but I don't have solid internet right now.

The bucket Suu for next comiket is a little unclear it just say you can take her home with you. I asked what it was and they said it wasn't done and it'd be ready for winter comiket.

Also you didn't hear this from me but there may be an official Sport Club Kobold tank top coming out sometime. I got to talk a little with the guy in charge of merch on Twitter and in person and Crab mentioned the idea to him.

I will have to disagree. Kimihito is already basically the perfect stay at home dad character, be it one or seven kids. If TF was not translating after January 2016 onwards, its because she was already starting to move into her new job - actual licensed translation. The issues were that her translations were extremely slow, to the point people joked that Seven Seas would have over taken her based on the rate of releases. If she were consistent like TTF was, people would have given her more leeway. The big nail in her coffin was the April fool's prank. Remember that spending 10 minutes cleaning a page means 6 hours of work on a 36 pages chapter, excluding color releases.
This increases with redraws, especially when some redraws can require far more than two hours, excluding eyes going numb, research, shitposting, yadda yadda...
2 minutes of QC for every page means a bit more than an hour of extra work.

Reduced free time to spend on this and reduced staff size means that delays are bound to happen or a reduction in quality is necessary.
That's why we only do LQ releases now, with the occasional quick redraw. (Griff decides on his own which ones he does)
