I hope everyone is enjoying their summer - the nights are getting warmer, the days are getting longer, and our beloved threads are getting ever-so-closer to that 100 mark!
Perhaps it's time we switched over to iced tea.
As always, thank you to everyone who keeps the threads afloat while I'm away - this really cannot be done without you!
Spread the love /c/omrades, and go get some sun!
As usual, here's the full OP image - enjoy!
Care to link us up bruv?
Sorry for the wait guys, currently sorting through and removing duplicates
Here it is: Mega Mugi 2.0, all credit to archive-anon for the first ~2000 photos.
There are probably a million lewds that I missed and didn't put into the lewd folder, but other than that, enjoy.
>every image on the first page shows Mugi with all taboo body parts covered
U wot m8
If that qualifies as lewd then I'm not going to worry too much about encountering those kinds of images in the main collection.
Also, thanks for going through the effort of uploading all of it, you did a good job mate.
Shit's big (UUUU) so I'll wait until tomorrow to download it.
The thing is, all the posts are curated from ones already posted on /c/, which means they're almost all worksafe, so I decided to separate ones with a questionable amount of skin showing, or in provocative positions just to be safe.
hey /mugi/ boys !
I'm learning how to photoshop,
sorry its bad, im new
and i thought you might like this
That's really ignorant of you to say.
Have to agree. That's not a very intelligent way to state your opinion... wait, this is 4chan, what the fuck am I expecting? Either way, I've always had a bit of a headcannon that Mugi is a closet metalhead, so I think it's clear where I stand.
I owe it to this thread to restate my opinion properly since it deserves that kind of quality discussion.
I'm not /mu/ either so expect some inconsistent jargon usage or lack thereof.
Black Metal in my opinion is a bad genre of music and here's why.
If you were to classify all types of guitary "rock" music into a spectrum of grindiness you can plot out the different genres of metal onto it.
The "blacker" the music gets the more it turns into random noisy grinding that's just plain unenjoyable to listen to.
Metalheads claim that the chords are "layered and complex" but IMO it just sounds like a noisy clusterfuck.
I could bet that none of you could hum along the "tune" of "Future Breed Machine" from memory, because there just isn't any structured one to follow, it's all just grinding and smashing.
Lyrics in general also sound like a middle-aged man taking a shit in front of a microphone or a pig squealing as it's being castrated, and contain as much angst and edge as the average middle school class room.
Some people might enjoy that kind of music, but I certainly don't.
On a different note, Metalheads, especially of the Black variety seem like a bunch of obnoxious morons to me.
The kind that parade around how edgy and complex and deep their muddy slog is and can't accept that not everyone shares their niche "taste".
The few Metalheads I've had the displeasure of encountering were either angsty edgelords or arrogant shitheads.
As you stated, this is 4chan, why should I put effort into arguing out my opinion if I expect to receive single line replies from exactly those arrogant shitheads anyway?
Better to just throw a single line in there calling it trash because it saves energy and they usually don't deserve anything more than that.
You see, that I can understand. I personally can't get into Black Metal, Grindcore, Deathcore, etc. The furthest I can get is Melodic Death Metal because that's the point where I can still decipher the structure and the lyrics are still somewhat comprehensible.
I'm a huge fan of metal, but I lean more towards thrash metal, groove metal, metalcore, doom metal and other things of that sort. I don't agree that metal in general is trash, but I do personally agree that a lot of further parts of the "brutality" spectrum are, in fact, bad. I also agree that most people who consider themselves to be metalheads would be more accurately described as meatheads and have the tendency to be elitist assholes who can't take an opinion.
I still have the headcannon that Mugi is secretly into metal, though.
Didn't mean to imply that metal in general is trash (at least not in my second, more autistically long post, the first was more of a kneejerk), just that the later stages of slog are, and that the "community" of both "artists" and fans are full of obnoxious overly edgy cunts.
I myself have enjoyed some heavy/thrash/christian metal in the past.
Don't mind your headcanon, as long as you don't think that she's into the garbage kind of metal, since she's obviously not some antisocial plague on society.
Except if you knew anything about music theory, you'd know that there's a lot more going on in Future Breed Machine than "grinding". Metalheads do tend to act holier-than-thou when people insult their music, and Meshuggah in particular has their abilities overstated by fans, but you're calling the kettle black so hard.
It's one thing to dislike extreme, noisy music, but shooting down dozens of genres without any understanding of music is fucking ignorant.
I don't need any deeper understanding of music to say that something sounds like shit, it's like saying that you need to be a chef to criticize shitty food.
The intricacies under the hood don't matter at all if the end product is a load of horseshit.
I don't dislike extreme and noisy music, I dislike shitty music, and that tends to be of that variety.
If you try your hardest to convince your mind to enjoy garbage, then good on you, but don't assume that anyone else is as much of a tool as you are.
tsumugi = pongee ; a type of unbleached fabric, woven from silk, usually chinese
mugi = wheat, barley | shamelessness
Just want to point out that the meanings of words in japanese are connected to the characters, not the pronounciations.
There's an assload of homophones in japanese because of the limited sounds they have in their syllabary.
麦 (mugi) barley, wheat
紬 (tsumugi; the character of her name) pongee
They're both seperate and distinct in their meaning.
If you've ever searched for Mugi images on Pixiv you'd find her nickname written as katakana (ムギ) and a bit less commonly as hiragana (むぎ).
Katakana is mostly used for foreign imported words, scientific terms and onomatopoeia while hiragana is used either for grammatical functions, children's language and some words where the kanji are too much of a pain in the ass for the average jap to write out.
You can use both for nicknames but hiragana might come off as more cutesy and childish and katakana as more "normal" per se.
You'd never use a kanji to write out a nickname unless you'd like to make a pun, since like I said, changing the character changes the meaning of the word.
And trust me, there are a lot of Mugi/Barley pun images on pixiv.
Here's one in this thread right now: >>2908007
It shows Mugi posing for a tasty beer that's advertised as having 100% "Mugi" in it.
Wow, thank you for going into so much detail!
I am shocked to find that Mugi is going on in here!
pls no bully
If you want to shitpost like that then /a/ might be a better fit
Yes Mugi is a sexual being, but leave the lewding for other boards.
I kinda like Mugi in a darker style sometimes.
According to japan it's her birthday already, but it seems most of us are going to wait until it hits yuropoor/burger timezones.
It's Mugi's birthday in my timezone now! Celebrate!
Son, is this how you have been spending your time? I am disappointed in you.
Happy birthday Anon!
I'll toast to you too mate.
Happy Birthday Mugi.
There can be no other. <3
Happy Birthday to the most beautiful member of the keionbu!
Where does the idea that mark wears pink underwear originate?
There are a lot more people who watched the anime rather than read the manga. Which is a shame because doing both means more Mugi.
I think purple suits her a lot more. It seems more mature, unique and distinguished than pink.
Just because she doesn't wear them as far as you know, doesn't mean she'd never wear them.
I've never worn green socks, doesn't mean I'm forbidden from wearing then for the rest of my life or something.
The red ribbon is for Azusa's grade level while the main 4 wear a blue one. It just always looks to me like the artist doesn't care enough about the source to correct it but it's also an autistic pet peeve of mine. Same with when they get eye color wrong.
Well, she looks a bit smaller in that image, so she might be a year younger, I dunno, I'm reaching so hard to excuse a minor error an artist made at this point.
You're right about eye colour though.
It's one thing to get a piece of clothing slightly wrong and it's another to get a set-in-stone biological fact wrong.
When you bump the thread from your phone.
Does Mugi really look better without the socks?
No! That's what I thought as soon as I saw the thumbnail. I think it's those eyes looking off to the side and the partially open mouth.
Because she lives in the 2nd dimension and will never meet her 3d husbando, you
I've been going through the folder for a while now.
Will post when I find it.
I primarily use Pixiv on my PC to download images and rarely use the phone version to browse, so I'll not get too much use out of this.
Someone else might find it more useful though so thanks for posting it.
NEW THREAD WHEN
You enforcing some sort of subjective "quality standard" by spamming a thread based solely on if a tripcode you fellaciate is stamped next to the OP or not is pretty fucking autistic.
I like BAC, he makes the OPs well, but he does not own these threads, that thought is just plain stupid.
