Too right!
any advice for dealing with curves? my current method is patchwork as fuck
>>2773224
Take note of your handle length, and always stretch horizontally if you can, make sure the handle is always on the outer side of the line you're following!

>>2773296
interesting, i've been curving the lines somewhat, but it's mostly just been anchors themselves shaping my paths. used said method with this one and i think it turned out alright, but i'll take your instructions into account next go.

>>2773224
Lots of points.

chill out /c/, damn
>>2773473
Thanks for the kind words, any more steps you recommend I take or do you think my current method is passable?
>>2774258
I'd say you've got the hang of it really well. At this point it's just practice, practice, practice with the pen tool.
Of course don't be afraid to try a new method of doing something, whatever comes to mind is usually an idea worth trying, you may or may not get better results and find a quicker/nicer looking/less finicky way of doing something.

Happy to hear it! Want to contribute to the /ak/ threads, but the last thing I want to do is become the "shitty renderfag."

an anon mentioned that this was too blurry at this size, so here's the original res/not blurry one for anyone interested

Larger res here: https://a.pomf.cat/llwguy.png
A full res is in the Mega folder, but it's very large to the point of massive overkill.
do anyone maybe have render of yukari in that weird seeing apparatus from manga?
>>2776826

>>2776834

Thanks! It looks great.
>>2779722
why is the lewdest character 5 years old?
>>2780006
Forgot some shadows on the hair like a baka.
>>2779732
Because Japan. Honestly I'd wish they just tack on 10 yrs to most the characters so I'd stop feeling weird about some shows

You're welcome, Anon!
Thanks for helping me get to my 400th render!
Most of the stuff in this thread aren't even renders they're just fucking cutouts
I'm disappointed.
>>2780974
Were you expecting vector art or something? The term renders has been used for these for a very long time Anon, sorry you have to feel that way.
>>2780974
Do you get paid to be an asshole or something?
>>2781001
Thank you!
As for how they came be called Renders, I just assume it's a misnomer in relation to Vector graphics or something, as they both generally have transparent backgrounds.
>>2782555
cute! but I think she has some rocks stuck to her arm.
>>2782586
You would be correct! Good eye.
