That also reminds me, there was an Anon in the last thread who asked if a majority of the content in these threads were reposts.

As someone who's dealt in all things Mugi for some time now, the answer is very much a resounding yes.

But! What really kept the threads alive was all the NEW content that came out in-between reposts. Mugi not only has a great deal of artwork out there, but a lot of genuinely good quality artwork.

Case-in-point, the artist of the OP image (they go by "71") would release a lovely Mugi picture every couple of months, which believe it or not, kept the threads afloat for awhile.

That being said, there's also the wonderful community of both /c/ and the Mugi Threads that personally keeps me coming back. While the flow of new content may be little more than a trickle nowadays, there's still plenty of wonderful people who enjoy the "old stuff" that makes these threads as worthy an endeavor as they were almost five years ago.

Also, I'll admit wholeheartedly that >>2613233 was an image I've never seen before. Sure, it was a still from the show, but it's very much "new" content.

Maybe I should dig through my folder and dump some 71 art - I'd like to think they'll grace us with something new in the future.

I wonder what they'd think if they saw how many threads we've made...

Glad you like! Thanks, uh, basically I do a big black oval, then on a new layer I make a smaller blue one inside of it, add a lighter blue highlight to it's bottom & erase the shape of a pupil from its center. Then I add the white gleam dots & use an airbrush tool on a luminosity layer to do the glowing parts on top of it all. Hope that makes sense, ha.

I agree, Mugi does feel like a girl with a bit more muscle, fat and slightly broader frame. However I think that adds a bit to her appeal, she is strong so she must have the muscle to show that off.

Big news guys!!

So I've been out of the game for a while... I've been putting this off for a while but had some motivation today

If any of you use Copy.com, you will already know about the service shutting down and having to migrate all of your files. Well, I have now migrated everything to Google Drive. This will allow you guys to "Add to Drive" the archive if you have a Google Account (as most of you probably will). This also meant that I had to modify the site to get it working with a different service. What I ended up doing is periodically cloning the archive onto my VPS so the site will have a local copy of all the files.

What does this mean for you guys?
Expect less latency for the initial image load but the lack of thumbnails (if demand wants it, I can try to find a solution), will make loading the images take longer as they will use the actual image.

I also added some more colourful naming schemes to every image, trying to name them all manually was a hassle as every single one could be called "mugi.jpg". Hopefully you guys like these more than randomstringofints.jpg

The archive is now at: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0Bypu0puuOLwpNGd4ZmRKVTJtNEk&usp=sharing (this is a little restrictive as it only shows the first 500 items but if you add it to your Drive, I assume you get all 2000+)
