pls respond
Cash out ASTI now, thank me later. I've got a buddy inside who says they're liquidating as soon as they sell to the government. Gonna take that sweet investment and run.
>>989930
That absolute madman is right!
http://seekingalpha.com/article/3740486-ascent-solar-ironically-poised-for-a-prolonged-descent
Anybody else a poorfag n00b investor that can barely into memestocks?
Been pretty lucky as of late +12.53 % from buying into ASTI and SFXE
>>989929
Just play around with a few buck and learn the ropes. Look at historical prices to guess which way it's headed, what the daily high/low split it, how much can you make from $100 investment assuming you bought the days low and sold the days high to see how volatile it is, etc.
>>989925
What do you lads think about CMG?
Buy during the E. coli dip?
naw, I'm staying short on this. This is going to be awhile. PR hit after PR hit
>>989950
Guessing how long it takes for:
A) someone to ask you what short means
B) Someone to tell you to stop talking about shorting here
LETS GO BOYS.

Forgot pic
>>989970
BUY BUY BUY
Why are you guys ignoring. The fact that NETE just made 110m in revenue
Who else here in sfxe?
Its up 27% now lol.
Wish i had put more money into it on friday. Id nearly have doubled my investment.
Are the people on stocktwits really worth reading?
>>990008
>ASTI is over
It's not. I plan to split my risks between the two memes
Is NBG still a meme?
>>990017
>SFXE is up 45% now
$.$
thank you based anon for the tip last thread
>>990038
No shit. And I though it was a mistake to buy 17k shares at 0.39
>>990039
Kek.
>all my money is in SYN and ASTI
So I couldn't take advantage of SFXE even though I wanted to buy some when it was at .22.
I may switch from robinhood. The 3 day waiting period is just too ridiculous sometimes.
>>989930
>tfw already sold
Feels gut mane
>>990038
Your welcome.
Haha, desu never in my wildest dreams would i have thought Sfxe would jump like this.
>>990061
>never in my wildest dreams would i have thought Sfxe would jump like this.
You said it will reach 1 buck soon
>>990057
You're going to have the same problem at a regular brokerage.
You'd have to open a margin account to duck it.
>>990066
Yes but i didnt expect such a 1 day jump.
Like i said, it will definitely move out of penny stock territory soon.
And if it gets sold to another company $1 may be lowballing it.
>>990017
Try searching for NBG in Nasdaq.
>>990076
So I am pretty new to investing. I've just been shorting meme stocks (with great success). What is a margin account.
RH $FREE IS DEAD Edition
>>990092
>shorting meme stocks
Really. Like what?
>>990100
AVXL, FREE, ASTI.
>>990107
How does that work?
You buy and then what?
>>990119
Hopefully they go up, you sell and you profit?
>>990129
Ok, that's not shorting.
Shorting means you profit when the stock falls.
>>990153
You don't know jack shit about me, dumbfuck.
Don't assume too much.
>>990099
>mfw i just bought 1000 shares today
is limit selling bugged for low amounts? I set to dump all of my $FREE shares if the price dropped below $0.023 and then I immediately got notified that all of my shares were sold below the limit price of $0.03. Does it round that shit up?
Not too sad about it since $FREE is a dead meme anyway, but still, could have fucked me up elsewhere
How long to hold SFXE? I could dump it now for a decent profit or should I wait?
decided to buy gopro
how keked am I, lads?
>>990256
If you can't explain why your stock should go up to your grandma, it won't
>>990256
its literally a meme product I wouldn't count on it coming up long term. for short term, i bet it goes up another dollar before trending down again, like it has been the past few months unless they've got some big product dropping that is going to sell like hot cakes for christmas. even if it does, at $20 a share you'd need a lot of capital for a small game.
so pretty keked i'd say
ASTI is going down. Prepare your shekels for tomorrows dip
Glad I got off the ASTI boat
See you space robots
>>990099
>>990178
>>990236
FREE isn't dead ya dingus, it's for day trading. If you hold FREE for more than +48 hours you are GUARENTEED a loss. For example I bought today at .0265 and sold a few minutes later at .028, ended up making $7. I've profited three time in a row doing this buy buying and selling in less that 48 hours. It's easy to predict realistic numbers you can hit since the high/low of the day is so far apart. The lower the price goes the more shares you can buy, then resell. So you can make even more money trading as the overall price drops.
>tfw HART and SYN are recovering
FUCKING FINALLY! I wish I was more awake to load up on more HART when it was $2 in the morning though.
>>990295
I'm pretty new too, but one thing I do know is that if you're not buying like 200+ shares of something, you aint making shit in the short term unless you strike gold.
I only have $100 to invest, what should I yolo on
>>990528
Avoid $ASTI. Only pain ahead.
>>990531
>no one can predict the stock market
Im already in quite a bit from a while back. im gonna hold out, sure their future isnt bright but im making this a long term hold
>>990017
There was some Greece bailout summit in early November, after which NBG completely plummeted
Luckily I was on a simulator when I invested 20k in them
>>990531
Look at this non-believer
>>990528
FREE
It's an educated guess but based on the historical prices you can most likely set a limit buy for .026 and then sell at +.027. Don't hold this stock for more than 48 hours, but based on historical prices (pic related) it seems reasonable you can hit this tomorrow. Also it's opened high every day for weeks so don't buy first thing in the morning.
AMD's performance doesn't really make sense in my mind. But I brought when all the big gains appeared and got late into the party buying 300 at $2.16. It's now at $2.39.
Any chance it's going to tumble when they reveal the numbers after New Years for Q4? I kinda wanna sell after making a tidy profit, but there's the slight chance I wanna be in for the long haul in case Zen saves AMD and drags it out of penny stock territory.
What does everyone think of :DIS:? Or :AMD:?
Even with Christmas around the corner and DIS being linked to star wars?
>>990597
I mean, I don't think they're making any profit until they have better products for the consumer market. Plain and simple as that.
But I dunno what the market is expecting for their Q4 numbers. Like, if they lose less than their $197 million loss in Q3, is that considered a success? Do they have to break even to not hemorrhage stock value?
>>990607
I dunno mate. I don't trust AMD as a company, so I wouldn't touch its stock as well.
>>989930
can someone explain what this would mean stockwise, eg volume down because xxx, so yyy
>>990795
Don't listen to that dingus. It doesn't make any sense at all to liquidate a company after sealing a contract with US government
SOME BUY GOLD
SOME BUY SILVER

TO
THE
MOOOOOOON
>>990956
Good choice. However, I wouldn't hold for too long
Keked up and got ASTI at .188 plan on selling at Market open
Any predictions on what it's price will be then?
>>990977
>tfw I bought ASTI at .224
Just got started trading recently, how exactly am I supposed to go about finding stocks besides just knowing the company or searching random letters?
Is there some kind of database out there where I can observe a big selection of stocks and their behaviors/prices over time?
>>990984
>>990977
It should go down tomorrow. Why do you panic though?
>>991000
Not really panicking, just seems that getting lower at like .16 or .17 is better than .18
>>990601
That new star wars movie does not look like its going to do well. Maybe its just among my peer group but nobody is especially excited for it. Cant imagine why
>>991082
>Cant imagine why
Wew lads, just got my bank accounts authorized, what meme stocks can I unload my life savings into?
>>991116
SFXE seems like a good meme stock at the moment.
>>991120
The meme of the week, testing it with just one stock to see where it goes
Ive post about FIZZ every week since the end of the summer and have been holding it since last February.
They're going to exceed their earnings I'm telling you now. Take my word for it.
The reason nobody ever replies to me is because it's all 19 year olds trying to put 100 in a stock because they don't understand how it works and they hope they can make 15 to buy themselves some McDonalds.
CYA. I'll post next week the same comment and you'll be kicking yourselves. You can screenshot this.
Is SFXE going to climb again tomorrow?
Is it worth waking up early to buy it at open or is the ride already over?
>>990973
Well breh, how long WOULD you holds?
>>991140
Lol you just perfectly described me. But I'll listen. How much should I put in?
>>991297
If that's you then it's pointless. Go back to penny stocks kiddo and maybe you can get another mc double
Free to da moon plz
WHERES SFX GOING LADS
AINT TRYNNA GET SHEKELED
>>991146
I'm bracing for .50 today
>>991562
SFXE is such a low volume shit it fluctuates like crazy
Anyone knows a good realtime chart with detailed price? I can't follow penny stocks effectively with www.tradingview.com
Bought ASTI at 0.1890 this time yesterday. Should I just sell to prevent further loss?
>>991569
Buy high
@
Sell low
>>989930
This is insider trading and you can all be prosecuted and do jail time like martha stewart
>>991573
I'm pretty sure it's bullshit though. Is it still illegal if the guy is full of shit?
Doesn't look like ASTI is going to dip. Looks like there is the big chance it won't go lower than .17 before the spike
>>991578
I am hesitant of the "big spike" I have it now looking to sell at .185 for a quick gain. Should I buy again before the "big spike" on Dec 15? What is peoples logic in supporting the spike.
>>991578
What tools do you use for analysis? Help a newfag out.
Buy TCPI. It's low sell at .89
>>991598
a true meme has emerged
>>991583
Idk man ive heard when a govt steps in it means that they aren't gonna do anything but flop. Where do you get the basis for this spike? Shit you've heard on 4chan?
>>991604
>when a govt steps in it means that they aren't gonna do anything but flop
lolwut? Government contracts = money. It's like 2+2
>>991606
I'm sourcing from the reply up top that said the word liquidating. I could've sworn liquidate means your selling off anything of value to pay off a debt?
Genuine inquiry here.
Is the govt stepping in to liquidate or for contracts?
>>991606
See?
>>991609
Why would they liquidate after signing an agreement with US government? This is the craziest thing that can't even be explained. Do you have any legit source for that bullshit?
>>991615
I was ironic at the >>989933 sorry
picrelated
>>991618
Hey while I got you here, define what a meme stock is for me I don't understand
>>991598
Wohoo small little profit. But nice.
>>991622
Any penny stock that got shilled ITT, but which actually has some short-term potential
Anyone $XGTI? it's down to .22 and tends to go back around .25 .27 for some easy pennies
>>991628
Gbsn is climbing today
>>991634
Which doesn't make it a meme stock
>SUNE
>>991641
sune btw IS a meme stock.
>>991643
its up 21% today
>>991634
The reverse stock split could be a huge boost today
>>991646
No shit. That's why we keep playing with meme stocks
>>989925
Do I need to make an account to use think or swim? It just seems excessive.
What's good to buy now? I've been waiting for ASTI to drop, and I missed the boat on GBSN.
>>991678
NVGN will spike sometime in the next two months.
>>991678
Sfxe is on its way up rn
>SYN and HART climb early in the morning and drop to -3-4% afterwards
Fuck the stock market. Just rally already!
Just bough 3000 shares of FREE at .025 then it immediately drops to .022. I'm never gonna recoupe that loss.
>>991671
No and here's what it looks like on an iPad 2. Just hit the "Trade" button on the bottom right, type in your stock, turn it sideways, and you can see the candlestick chart.
One 1000$ stock /biz/
Or 10 100$ stocks?
>>991711
Option 2
>>991678
Gbsn is going back down. Hard to say if it's a good entry point yet or not but it's been really volitile today
>>991574
Yeah, we're all board members in large publicly traded penny stock companies. We should report to the nearest detainment facility for processing to save the government the trouble of tracking us down.
Guise I lost a whole dollar what do I do? Maybe I shouldn't have bought all those meme stocks.
How am I doing as far as meme stock picks go?
So what happens in this reverse stock split for GBSN to your remaining shares after they turn every 60 into 1? Do they just buy them up at market value?
>>991727
You don't gain any value.
The price just increase by a factor of 60 and the number of shares you own decrease by a factor of 60
>>991725
Keep up the dream anon
>>991730
What if I only have 1 share?
$ASTI is doing it's weekly dip, buy now!
>>991760
Too bad my broker doesn't support .xxx prices, so I was able to buy only at .17
>>991760
i trust in you anon
>>991730
yeah i get that, but lets say i have 100 shares. I can't have 1.66 shares, what happens to the .66? do they buy it off me?
Well hello there ASTI. Feeling a lil low are we? I understand, let me help you out there.....
>>991797
Don't be greedy anon
>>991800
its not greed so much as not wanting to buy in only for it to drop 25% immediately
>>991800
fuck it, just bought 600 shares, lets do this shit
>>991801
I'm just saying that you can't predict the market and it's better to buy a little bit higher now even if it go lower later then just sit and wait until the stock will go even higher then you could buy it before. You know what I mean? Althouth it's not the issue with the ASTI right now, it's still kind of slow today, but I definitely would not expect .12 before the 15th. .16 tomorrow? maaaaaybe. But I didn't fuck with luck and bought it at .17
>>991751
It gets sold. If you have 61 shares the 61st share would be given back to you at the final price before the split
>>991850
I don't own any GSBN, but if I did, should I cash out then? Surely it's volatility isn't going to match that sixty fold increase so it's going to be shit for short term gains, right?
I just tried putting in a stop limit for YANG at 102.76/102.75 and it game me the message that markets were closed - but its traded on the NASDAQ...
So just as an experiment I tried a market sale, and it sold instantly for 102.59.
What the fuck just happened? Can someone explain this theivery?
ASTI to the moon
http://cnafinance.com/ascent-solar-asti-stock-worried-about-declines-dont-be/7599
>>991908
No shit Sherlock
>>991908
so get in now or wait for another dip to under 0.15? If I buy in at .17 and it goes back down to .12 I'm going to cry.
Catching falling knives edition
BTU time baby, tomorrow's poised for a rebound
Then it's sold
>>991908
alright, which one of you wrote this article?
>>991908
This article is retarded. Does anyone really see any long term potential in ASTI?
>>991964
No. its a swing trade kinda stock bruh.
RH's trade hours are really short.
Where yah see GBSN going /biz/?
SFXE
>>992064
NYSE trades from 9:30 AM EST - 4:00 PM EST, I assume its just following that.
This after hours shit pisses me off though, not being able to trade while the price continues to fluctuate is bullshit
Now is the time to invest in solar for long term. Solar City and SUNE. Sell sometime next year. You'll thank me next Christmas when you have extra money to buy yourself something nice.
>>992080
what do you think about JASO
>>992077
I'm in for tomorrow with gbsn. It'll break .13 again and then who knows. Sfxe is supposed to go over a dollar eventually, I'm going to ride it to .45 or .50 and see what happens
TASR YOU PIECE OF SHIT
GET UP TO 20$ ALREADY FUCK
WHY DOES IT KEEP FALLING
>>992083
>Sfxe is supposed to go over a dollar eventually
shit i keep hearing people saying this, its making me consider going in big on it...
got a tip from a friend about CLX tomorrow folks
>>992114

>>992116

RH doesn't want to pay for it.

>>992179
Do you understand how spreads work?
If I make an after hour purchase, will I still get it at the same price I saw it for?
>>992093
Just think about it. Why it shouldn't? People are ok with violence, nobody need tasers
>>992081
I haven't really seen them around. It's just expected that 2016 will be the biggest year for solar. Solar City is promising.
>>992221
Not likely. Just wake up and buy then or tell it what the lowest you're willing to buy it for is.
>>992282
>L I M I T O R D E R S
Everyone keeps saying this but no one explains how out where to
Oh. Top right corner.
>>991793
You probably receive the cash equivalent of the partial share.
You still don't gain or lose any value from a stock split.
>>991964
I do. They made their goal for $3/share. This is just their short term goal. Even if they dont get there, a 1500% increase shows that they are confident in their companie's future
>>992584
>They made their goal
It never means anything. I remember there was a $3 goal for XOMA right before I bought it. So what? It never recovered after the last spike and drop
Nows a good time to buy ASTI if you believe in it. It's tanking.
>>992752
It's not. It's just keep fluctuating at it was before.
Although, the market in general just started to rise today
you boys might wanna get in ktov.
>>992763
Great explanation. Would buy again
>CRDC

at this point it doesn't even matter

it could easily run 200% if we see positive data on the 15th. it's probably going to make short runs like it did today until the 15th. the company just went public a couple weeks ago

>pharma
>the company just went public
Literally gambling.
What Shkreli says about it?
>>992789

Who bought GPRO recently? We rich now.

One of is is going to be wrong. Im curious to find out who it is
>>992817
>rich
Best case scenario - you've got your money back. I suggest to cash out if you actually made any money
>>992832
Wrong about what? I hold 37700 shares of ASTI myself. I'm just saying that you shouldn't rely much on those "goals"
>>992840
My statement: ASTI will rise
Your statement: Their goals never mean anything. (Therefore i am assuming you mean nothing will change)
There is no way both of us can be right
Holy fuck, who XGTI here? time to cash out?
>>992850
A 20% raise is a good time to sell, anon.
Then again, you know all those stocks where you think "If I put 1k into that in 2001, I'd be a multi-millionaire"? Well you wouldn't be if you always sold after a 20% raise.
>>992856
dont be greedy
its a fucking memestock
get out now
has anyone profited off of $XGTI?
today was the first day a feel i traded correctly. my plan is to cycle through up to 1000 in small chunks, aiming for 30 per day gain, 1% of original capital. thoughts on my plan?
>>992847
>ASTI will rise
True
>ASTI stock will cost ~$3 anytime soon
False
If you consider this memestock as a good-long term investment, well, good luck too you. I'm out on the first spike

Seriously best advice this whole thread summed up into one sentence

It's pretty hard to keep your shit together when you're new to this. Now, as I kind of matured a little, I already manage to keep calm looking at my stocks going down hundreds dollars a day.

How? I only put 5$ in each stock and I'm still irritated by my 1 dollar loss from SFXE

rate my portfolio /biz/ it's down 1.5% since June while S&P has been down 2% in the same time....
SFXE looks pretty hopeless.

>>993095
It comes with time.
I'm holding 18 different positions right now, and I can't be bothered to worry when one or another slides.
Just a waiting game.
>>993102
I sure hope so. Right now this is technically my only source of income so I'm trying to practice.
So I can trade with my funds as much as I want, right? The waiting period only comes from trying to fully withdraw my money is what I mean.
What do you guys think of CVM and AMD?
>>993108
It's just a very low volume stock. All it needs is a news that going to confirm that http://www.hypebot.com/hypebot/2015/12/live-nation-edm-pres-james-barton-to-exit-in-talks-to-join-sfxe.html
After that you can easily expect +50% explosion

I'm considering buying in while its low, is it coming back up?

if you're looking for a quick buck probably not unless you've got a ton of capital but if you're willing to stick it out a couple of month for some modest gains i like the way they're looking

Jesus fām don't you look at the historical prices before you buy? It was so easy to predict that the 3's were over and it now in the 2's. You don't hold that stock for more than 48 hours. Sell now ya dingus.
>>993107
>nothing under five dollars
>less than five shares in everything
how is that even fun?
AVXL anyone? Bought in at 5.65 a share and its 6.72 now, wondering if I should cash out or just double down and get more since they're releasing their drug reports on January
Sfxe is not a pump and dump meme stock but has serious potential as a solid stock. Nothing has changed. Just stay the course.
I could have made a ton of money selling it yesterday, but I held cause im in it for the long haul.
It will bounce back and when it does ill be there to reap the rewards.
Mark these words. Sfxe will outgrow penny stock territory in 2016.
Basically, if you cant hold for the longer term then sell but you might miss on a huge opportunity.

post a screen shot, wanna see how many shares you're packin

memes aside, what is the strategy for SFXE?
We all saw the spike after the rumors >>993120. And I guess just because it was the rumor, and not official announcement, the stock went down again.
So let be the dreamers and give this rumor 80% chance of to be true, and let say, next week there will be an official announcement. How do you guys see the chart move from there?
And lets imagine the worst and that guy announce that this whole deal is a bullshit and SXFE can eat shit. I guess all our our money will be rekt immediately after that?
>>993385
I'd hold out til end of january then dump
>>993370
how could you tell from historical prices that it was going to drop and stay dropped that hard? How exactly do you estimate that?
It's been fluctuating between high and low .03's for a while, I bought at what was usually low end of where it dips, and it immediately dipped even harder, I held for a few days hoping it would even out.
But I'm still new to this, so how exactly do you come to the conclusion that it was about to drop into the two's with no chance of recovery?

Next data release ought to be mid Jan. Either sell on the run-up or hold through, possibly with puts as insurance. I still expect over 10 this year though so I wouldn't sell immediately even if you don't want to play the data release. Negative sentiment seems pretty much exhausted by now and the data as exists is good. I'll buy more if it gets around 5,50 and think about getting out if it gets to 12.

I'm on campus wifi and post during the day switching between my phone and laptop so like ten of those are mine. in reality there's probably just like six of us here without knowing it and it falsely boosts our confidence seeing everyone talking about going in on ASTI when its just like three other people
Can I make money with stocks doing only technical analysis?
>>993557
I'm making money with only emotion based meme purchases.

What's the memest stock you got

hands down $asti mcna$ty
I'm playing a high risk game right now, I bought KTOV relatively high trying to chase some gains. Lesson learned. Now I'm holding it until the news on the 15th. Pretty big potential to skyrocket much higher than today or to lose a lot more than I did today.
Wish me luck boys

I actually use it more than FA, as my time frames tend to be short, but I'd stop short of saying you should use it exclusively.
Hey guys, I've long been interested in the stock market and such and have just signed up for RH. I've been reading a few of the threads here, and aside from playing around with meme stocks, what are some ways I could take a couple thousand and actually make a small return here and there. I'm not expecting it double anytime soon, but I'm also not that interested in penny stock gambling.
>>993713
You're in kind of a tough spot.
Many are on RH because they lack the capital to pay out a percentage of their gains to commissions, which works ok for penny stock gambling.
Serious trading would require not only a brokerage that could give you access to what you'd need (which they would charge you commissions for), but also vastly more capital than a couple thousand.
Not saying you couldn't buy 30 shares of something and make a small return, but with that kind of capital you'd probably be better off putting it in a mutual fund or ETF.
>>993713
Look at the serious businesses familiar to you. Study their charts and read the related financial news. Search the ones that on the temporarily dips, wait for the general market downfall for the additional gains, acquire the stock, ???, profit!
>>993724
One reason RH interests me is because it charges no fees. And again, this is just on the side and for fun, but at the same time, I don't want to lose money.
>>993727
Easier said than done.
My original idea was to play off the intraday volatility of very stable stocks. Wait for it do go down a bit, buy some and start selling once it went back up during the day 0.10% to 0.20%. Then I did some math and 0.20% of $2000 is a whopping $4.

Okay, yeah, we all know that.
That's why no one cares about the ".20% a day in movement" stable stocks.
>>993735
>is a whopping $4
Jesus, just try not to waste all that cash at once

Again, I realize that now. It was just my initial thoughts.

glancing at INVT, what are y'alls predictions for tomorrow? With all the hype will there be a squeeze as soon as market opens or will it crash down back to $1. I'm currently not holding any stock, just speculating.
>>993751
this shit always crashes
88% in a day is a sure crash
from my limited experience
Except when it was KBIO, but that's a pretty special case.
>>993679
At least in the productive threads, like this or the eBay General. Maybe the Precious metals investing threads too. Otherwise it's just "hey what degree should I get" or "this is why liberals are ruining the world".

This is true, but there's a price to be paid. A big one being that settlement periods will have you waiting for days in order to place another trade after the first one.
A bigger price being that you won't be able to access your positions when they move in the pre or post market.
Well here's my overview boys. I've already made $9 off of shorting ASTI once; SFXE is the reason for my current slouch, but I believe it'll go up. XOMA fucked my shit up she I bought for 1.49 and had to sell for 1.39 because I panicked after the 12/01 conference.
>inb4 buy high sell low
>>993802
*I did learn not to get emotional over stocks after my XOMA incident.

Its gonna bounce back, r-right? $1.00 by 2016????

lol. Good for you, pocket that shit.
If I could short that fucker, I would've started a couple years ago.
finally got 50$ on this thing.
Literally going into Robinhood without reading a single thing about trading. 20 shares (I think?) says I become better than all of you at this.
>>993830
Thank you. It felt pretty good when I made that 9%, it was my first gain since my initial loss. I'm only up 3% right now and I think it has the potential to go up tomorrow or next week. If I may ask, why can't you short ASTI?
>>993834
Good luck, M80.
>>993839
Ability to short isn't static (it can change constantly, on popular stocks), but in general you can't short penny stocks.
>>993751
>INVT
It's gonna drop followed by a spike, then a downward trend
>>993871

I just put $5 in my Robinhood account. Completely clueless on trading, but I feel I can learn just about anything I set my mind too.
Does anyone have book recommendations so that I can learn?
>inb4 lol $5
I have $495 more waiting, but I just want to get my feet wet.
>inb4 lol $500
I'm a retail wage slave that lost my cooshy previous job when the company was sold. Gimme a break, m8
>>993894
Hey I only have $500 to play with as well. I'd rather not lose it all but worse case it won't break me.
Starting with $5 is a great way to learn. Try some penny stocks like FREE, GSBN, ASTI, etc. These all trade for $0.20 or less so you can buy a few shares of each. Next look up their historical prices to see if they are trending up or down. Compare the high/low prices of each day to see what you think you can buy in to make a profit. Look at the closing price of each and see if the opening price the next day is higher. If so, it may be possibly to buy a few shares at the end of the day, then set a limit sell for the morning to automatically sell them at whatever opening price for a few cents more. Also Google search for analysis of the stocks to see if people suggest to buy or sell. They NASDAQ website has good stuff. Google and Yahoo price info only shows to the penny so that wouldn't give you a good idea of say FREE's prices throughout the day because they trade to the thousandth of a penny. Also remember when google says it hit “$0.03” it really probability means “$0.025” (since they round). NASDAQ.com shows prices to the thousandth of a penny which is what you want to see.

Look at the 5 day chart on nasdaq.com to see how the prices fluctuate through the day. Again you are looking to see if the stock starts high in the morning and drops throughout the day. Because if historical prices/charts show that traditionally the end of day price is lower than the opening price, you can buy towards the end of day and sell at open. This is a good start to see what you need to do to make a few pennies. But when you're dealing with $500 it will be more like $5, $10 profit/losses. Remember /rgt/ is here for advice and as a guideline only. We're not here to do the homework for you. You should be actively searching elsewhere for news reports, historical prices, 1 day, 5 day, 1 month, 1 year etc. charts, analysis results, candlestick charts (check out the thinkorswim app and look at the thread sticky for a website that explains how to interpret them, it's easy) and other stuff to help you make an educated guess using technical analysis to determine if the price will rise or fall. Remember even if the price overall is dropping there is still a high/low each day so there's still money to be made in between.
Best advice I can give – stick to the plan. Pick some numbers you think you can reasonably hit and stick to them. If you think you can buy at .0251 and sell at .0258 then do it. Don’t be greedy and wait to see if it will go higher. Stick to the plan and don’t be afraid to take a loss either. I bought CBOE at $69.82 and saw it rise for a few days. Didn’t really have a plan of when to get out and it started dropping. I sold at $69.00 and made a loss when I could have made a profit if I had come up with a plan. I took a loss and was pissed, but considering it’s currently at $64 it was the right move. Getting emotional over the numbers and not having a plan will fuck you every time. Get in, get out fast, and move on to the next one.
Someone make a new thread AND FOR GOD'S SAKE DON'T FUCK UP THE FORMAT!
Just copy and paste the damn thing and edit the necessary stuff. AND DON'T FORGET TO PUT /RGT/ IN THE DAMN SUBJECT LINE
