Credit Card thread How is Amex as a whole? I've gotten

Citi Doublecash. 1% back on all purchases, another 1% back when you pay. No annual fee. Hidden benefit is that it encourages you to pay everything right the fuck back right away because it literally earns you more to do so.

Not bad, but I just want something as a balance transfer for now. The biggest reason it seems good as a BT is because it seems like its got a long 0% period, which will let me do more smaller transfers, which is smarter than doing one large one

I got the AMEX cash back card with no fees.

with reward cards you never leave a balance for interest to accumulate, that just negates the rewards you earn.
So just pay in full everytime unless you're in a 0% apr promotion.
