The economy is going to burst soon. Nothing the feds will do is going to prevent it. So what are your stock strategies for making some money when it does happen?

Cut my monthly additions in half, keeping the other half in the bank for a meager 0.6% interest until the crash or the outlook looks clearer.

> doing it wrong
I'm hoping to make some money from it, but I guess we'll see.

I'm a no-nonsense guy, I mitigate risk and ensure progress.

Oh shit, i mean sp500 index :D
Invest in Gold and Silver. FIAT currency never lasts, and the economy is gonna tumble down back to real money again. Watch Mike Maloney's hidden secrets of money. It explains a lot.
Hold bonds or cash. The stock market is not safe.
I wish the catalog didn't suck so that I could show you retards identical threads made over a year ago

I have literally heard this for at least 10 years. Probably even longer but I wouldn't have remembered. It's not going to happen, and if(when) it does it will not be predicted... You can prepare all your life for this, as some have.

Why would anyone sell you gold bullion for your "worthless" Fiat Currency?

And it also happened once before in the last ten years. We've been stuck on these 7-8 year boom-bust cycles since the formation of the .com bubble in the mid 90's, and now we're due for another one.

>liquidate all assets
>invest it into gold bullion
>bury it in my backyard
>ride out the economic crash while i laugh at idiots

Because theyd rather have fiat currency they can spend now rather than gold and silver later.
If the worldwide economy tanks, the US dollar is going to see a rally again. Just as it did in 2008.
Gold and silver got crushed in 2008, no one seems to remember that. It went from $21 to $8.

>>986823
Gold didn't get that crushed
>>986663
It is lol, look like useless college is, and statistics of Americas middle class and how many of the adults children living with them.
>>986838
Gold went from $1000 to $680.
>>986838
Speaking of, silver was actually a better investment than S&P after the crash by far.
>>986843
Eh, 32%.
Silver went from $20 to $9.5 give or take, much more crushed.
>>986844
Only if you got out at the top. How's Silver been for the last 4 years?
>>986852
Actually you could have gotten out anywhere at/above the new line I added. And it would have still been a higher annual return.
Silver's been ramping up for the next launch.
>>986855
>Silver's been ramping up for the next launch.
Gold is going to $800-$900, and Silver to single digits.
After that it will rebound.
>>986856
Yeah that sounds plausible.
