I'm a busy guy and I don't have time to read some 19th century blowhard's manifesto.

I'm also kind of stupid and lots of words make me tard out.

Let's tear down some of the business book classics to their smallest applicable denominator.

Side Quest: New science on simple concepts to self-improvement.

"business/sales" books are a fucking meme

That shit is just a scam. Why would a successful businessman need to make $36/month royalty off selling books?

No, fuck off, many books are great. You're angry because you can't read because your dad is black.

Return to your cocks per hour thread.
>>

These books are not though.

They're Tai Lopez-tier.
>Just look them in the eye, shake their hand and let them talk to you for a while then compliment them! They'll see you're very attentive and will buy your double sided dildo!

Ok you CHUD-baby, ignore the books. I will also be posting some links and TLDR's for some great TED talks covering new-ish research into techniques to improve mood and willpower.

The Art Of The Deal:
-LISTEN TO YOUR GUT (GREAT ADVICE)
-BE SELECTIVE IN INVESTING (ESPESCIALLY YOUR TIME)
-WINNING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN MONEY
-DEVELOP STICK-TO-IT-IVENESS

Wow incredible advice. You really need to read a book to learn these simples cliches everyone has heard of.

This is fucking retarded, these blogs are memes. Just like "motivation blogs", no successful people read selfhelp books.
>>
>>978035
>STICK-TO-IT-IVENESS

Fuck you Trump, that's a shitty word.

The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham.

The Intelligent Investor

-The Market does not always have a fair price. Your own metrics must guide your investing.
-Build in a safety net. If a stock is worth $10, then buying at $8 gives you some wiggle room.
>>
>>978051
On an anecdotal note,, I would guess that value investing is pretty stupid when the market is this irrationally inflated.

Motivation is fake, discipline and applicable fundamentals of business are real. Many people have developed sales accumen.

Simply forcing myself to ask for the sale has made me thousand of dollars.

How do you find time to post when you're at work fluffing gaybears on the set of "GOLDICOCKS III- ONLY THE PORRIDGE IS WHITE"

I wonder this also, however I have for example read some very helpful books on stockbroking which have led me to make a lot more money than $50/month.

I guess for some people at the peak of their game releasing a well-received book is good news for their profile/CV.
>>
>>978001

nah. there's a few good ones.

Some successful businessman legit want to share their secrets with the world.

I thought "never cold call again" was pretty useful.

>>978035
>WINNING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN MONEY
this explains so much (about trump)
terrible advice

I've read plenty of these books, and the books that are about to be mentioned in this thread. In my time reading them, I've learned that the books are only as useful or valuable than the people reading them. As long as the author is giving you *actionable advice* it is in your best interest to take it into action. Just reading the books, for the sake of "soaking up the knowledge" is deceptively helpful. It's mental masturbation.

The best thing you can do is to take notes while reading. Study these notes before you go to bed. Take these notes for quick reference when you're out on the field.

This is simple cliche advice, yes, but people seem to forget this all the time.

Also: stay the fuck away from people who claim that reading is useless. They most likely have a closet full of worn out kneepads.

So they really-really like extreme sports?
>>
>>978208
If you consider dick sucking an extreme sport, then yeah.
>>
>>978188
This is an excellent point. Ideally, we would boil these down to a handful of maxims for the modern man and execute them daily.
