Tau Kappa Epsilon. My chapter has given me good cotacts in the region, but all of my jobs/internships came from another source. But one of the brothers got an internship at the HQ of a tech company that's just outside of the F500 because one of my pledge brother's father is the CEO.

The worst kind of nepotism

I'm in a business fraternity. It's definitely helped me out a ton by being around really driven, intelligent people. I have a final round with a BB IBD and talking to my brothers who've been around that for a year or two has been incredible in terms of helping me prepare.

Fantastic ROI for what you pay for. A small percentage of your dues are fees/insurance for your nationals and the rest is pretty much your "programming" dues which means its your groups treasure chest to spend on whatever the hell you want.

The connections are fantastic and any positions held are valued as leadership experience in the work field. Half the time you become a top candidate for jobs because you have a connection.

For people considering to join I highly recommend you find out when your school has rush and also find out what fraternities are at least middle tier to top tier social wise. These are the groups of guys that are less likely to be fucks and actually have successful alumni and sororities are interested in them.
